1- does the AI use the talent tree?
2- so solve the problem, you can limit the prereq skills to say, 10-20, but increase the benefit each upgrade give to say: 10-20% per point. (yes this makes it a must have talent due to points vs reward) but it gets people to the needed skill.
However if you get 10x xp mod its achievable to unlock all skills and keep experience enjoyable
For good measure, you could try:
1. Start game
2. Turn off Mod
3. Close game
4. Start game
5. Enable Mod
6. Close game
7. Start game
8. Create new character
9. Start new campaign
10. profit?
2. turn off mod
3. turn off game
4. resart game and close again
5. restart game again
6. enable mod
7. start new character and campaign
Have I got this right ?
Sadly I haven't found any other way to solve it.
Last I checked it worked and the game haven't been updated since
I have removed the requirements for talents to require earlier talents.
The only way I have been able to fix it consistently in my games was to disable the mod, open the game, then close it again, activate the mod, create a new world and create a new character.
Does putting enough points in Indomitable result in immunity to AoE (Grogolov and Fumes) damage?
latter, I tried disabling this mod, added points till "Grogolov Cocktail" became available, put the 3 points in "Grogolov Cocktail" (that you are able to in the normal game) and then enabled this mod. Even then I can not raise "Grogolov Cocktail" above the 3 points I had in it before enableing the mod.
@Kent154x: Hi Kent, I'm not sure that will happen, mostly because the developer has announced Windward 2! The computer uses the same ships and skills, so their stats usually mimics yours (according to their levels and specializations)
opened the vanilla .cfg and copied the stat block for Turtle Ship to your config, Then I set cargo size to size 5.
Added the stat block for flying fortress via copy-paste. Set cargo space to 5.
Literally like 5 minutes ago I noticed that the zeppelin was also non-vanilla: Defense should have been 2? But... Ships page of wiki has 2.5... but the actual page for the zeppelin had 2... so I went with what was in the file from Windward's website (2)
what would be the best way for me to get you the file?
Stay safe.
Just wanted you to know, your mod seems to make Turtle ships SUPER OP. Def of 1K, Offence and Support of 500. Honestly... changing all ships (except the fortress? looks like it was cut wholesale at some point?) to have 5 cargo space is heckin' convenient.
I've fussed with the config file uploaded with your mod to try and sort that out, if you just want my copy.
Stay safe.
To be sure what you're talking about; When you say closing my mod, you mean deactivate/play without it?
I've just recently changed jobs so I don't have the time at the moment.
German: I haven't had the time
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1IUYj7eSA8yhpQftPJS_ObeuUo6iyMUkL2DVQi95jaBE/edit
and I have a config file that keeps the desired file structure (tabs, etc). I can even load that small mod, yet I don't see any visible changes. Thoughts?
I haven't been able to find any way to change the amount of experience gained with killing enemies though.
Long story short, I feel like your mod should have that included (or at least a sister mod made) to make reaching some of the higher values in the talents tree more realistic.
That sounds about right.
I haven't looked into try and change this because it seems to be hardcoded into the game itself. I'm glad you figured it out yourself though (and posted it here :) )
I'm just glad gold is easy to earn in this game (Questing/Trading gets lots of gold without having to think too much).
