"hammer map, exported from PeTI"

He started in PeTI, then fine tuned it in hammer.

No, I said, this is not hammer, I know it looks like it, but it is still, the PeTI, so this chamber is a mistake.

Alright, mister gate keeper. It’s almost like you didn’t read the description.

i think there is actually a seperate texture for the skylight that isn't portable automatically

1. I in particular chose the flickering light, as I felt it made the test chamber feel more broken, as that room was intended to be.

2. they looked decently aligned to me, but I'll definately look into that a little further, and maybe make them fit a little better.

3. I actually have already changed it since, however I'm experiencing a small lighting glitch, and not really sure how to fix it. I used Func_movelinear to make them.

4. That's movie makers/Ice Creams, problem, not mine.

I will.

Looks really good. There are four things I immediatly noticed;
1. you should make the flickering light solid.
2. Most of your textures are not aligned to the room.
3. That part with the holes in the walls should probably be the portalable white tiles. They are about 16*16 wide, which I think will fit better.
4. Your footage, whilst in 1080p, has really low fps.

Keep it up.

Thanks, Matt, that's actually something I've learned since then.
I made this a little while ago, and am now working on my first
hammer map made FULLY with hammer. I threw together a little teaser (aka, spoiling 90% of the map video) and it's technically finished now, I just need to get it published.
The map has been heavily (sorta anyways) improved since the video though.

Have you tried putting a brush infront of it with "tools/toolsinvisible" texture applied?
