Hi DB,
your mod has been translated by duestere Legende into German and the translation is now part of the German translations for Civilization VI mods mod pack.
We would be more than happy if you could refer to the language translation in your mod description.

to be honest the 500 faith from capturing cities can easily get out of hand if you manage to rush to theocracy

Sorry, my man. I can't help you unless you can narrow down the bug to one of my mods. Create a test game with just this mod and report back. And please don't post that someone's mod "needs to be updated" unless you've done a test like that and can say for sure that the issue is in that particular mod.

I have a love hate relationship with This mod. I love that the pantheons are extremely unique but i hate the fact that the AI always grabs the best pantheons by turn 15 so I never get to play with them. Whish that someone would make a turn 1 Pantheon selector.

Dionysus ist total übertrieben wenn es gut läuft habe ich nachher zwischen 200-300 Annehmlichkeit was den Spielspaß doch erheblich senkt bitte etwas nach unten korrigieren, statt 100 würden auch 20 pro Resource reichen.

Addition - the Poseidon pantheon would make more sense imo if it were tied to fishing boats, rather than ocean. At least in terms of balance with other pantheons.

Really love these pantheons, but it seems like with these loaded, no other pantheon mods - whether they're net new, or updating the standard ones - will load. Intentional or ...?

probably a weird interaction with a different mod. But has anyone noticed AI just like... not. founding a religion? Like claiming the Great Prophet and could found one but just... arent?

I can't really play without this mod but Ares is way too op imo
The faith you can get from it is unbelievely high, with a civ that can purchase units with faith, or the golden age that allows to you purchase civilian units with faith, you can expand way too quickly

Thanks Junk! Yes, my intention here was to have Pantheons be a big force in the early game that diminishes in importance as the game goes on. This is to resemble actual history, where religion was a huge force in people's lives in ancient times (e.g. they sacrificed infants to their gods) and is less so as time went on.

I like that most of these pantheons feel OP compared to the vanilla or other mods, because they totally define how you play the first half of the game. I'd just like to see more that have interesting adjacency mechanics in the future. The terrain dependent pantheons are great if you get lucky with a spawn and also an early source of faith, and the improvement based ones are powerful but require an investment of time and resources - I'd love to see more district based pantheons, or great people focused ones. Maybe unit specific pantheons, like melee units gain faith on combat victories, encampment adjacencies provide faith, or something... Idk Love this mod, want more.

this is easily my favorite mod on the workshop, I'd love to see you do a complementary mod based on norse or african mythology. The AI highly values the adjacency bonuses so it's always a crazy rush to get zues or helios, but I love it.

I think it would be pretty cool if you incorporate Haephestus's Vulcan "personality" and also give him faith from volcanoes, volcanic soil, and geothermal fissures, like one of the new patched in pantheons (goddess of fire)

Athena's pantheon doesnt work with the resoucerful 2 mod's dates even though it says it would. not sure how to fix that.

I'd chose d) that way Russia and especially Canada become more playable with a snow city focus (please don't remove the adjacency for snow tiles though, faith adjacency for holy sites next to certain tiles really helps when one doesn't have a lot of mountains)

Well, personally I would say d). is the most balanced. If I was in position to take a lot of tundra tiles in my expansion I would definitely take c). or d). a). would be good as well, though I might take say Artemis if I had access to a lot of camps. b). would be situational depending on whether or not the tundra tiles I had access to could support the production requirements of the cities based on woods and hills.

Totally agree. Improvement-based pantheons can be extremely good because they require builder charges. Not so with terrain pantheons. Yes, I will be downgrading Persephone in the next update. That will probably be in the next couple weeks after our current play-by-cloud game wraps up.

Here some options I'm considering... on each of the following, would you select it if you were playing a tundra game or ignore it and choose a different pantheon?

(a) +2 Food and +1 Faith from Tundra and Snow tiles
(b) +2 Food from Tundra and Snow tiles
(c) +1 Food, +1 Production, +1 Faith, and +1 Gold from Tundra and Snow tiles
(d) +1 Food, +1 Production, and +1 Faith from Tundra and Snow tiles

For easy comparison, here is her current bonus:
+2 Food, +1 Production, and +1 Faith from Tundra and Snow tiles

So I'm going to suggest you nerf Persephone. It's just plain overbearing at this point. If it applied only to snow (at which point it would be garbage) the current bonuses would actually make sense, because snow has no innate yield, like flat desert.

Helios makes desert tiles okay, not amazing, just viable. Persephone makes tundra tiles absolutely god tier because they already have food yield. Also, unlike snow and desert, tundra can have features like woods, and even bonus or luxury resources in those woods.

Now I realize that a lot of pantheons could be called "broken" because Artemis makes camps god tier, Demeter makes farms extremely good, etc. however those tend to require specialization that isn't always applicable, or at least doesn't lead to a situation where you can found multiple cities surrounded entirely be affected tiles.

I would recommend either drop the food bonus by one, or drop the food bonus by one, but snow tiles get 1 more (so snow is unchanged).

Yeah... the latest version requires Gathering Storm, sorry about that! However, you can still install Version 15 for Rise & Fall.

Hi DB,

After you updated the mod on friday evening I can't launch a game and it shows an error. When I exclude your mod everything works just fine, and when you updated the mod today it did not solve my problem. Can you possibly do anything about it?

Hi Bill!

Thanks for bringing that to my attention. I made updates both to OP and SDG and tested them independently, but there was an SQL conflict between the two mods that caused it to not-apply yield bonuses on Persephone and other pantheons. Just uploaded the fix. Let me know if you run into any other issues.

I think the update broke some of the beliefs. I started a new game with the Persephone belief, but it did not seem to boost snow and tundra tile yields, though they did give the Holy Site adjacency. Thanks again for your time, man.

2. I don't play with Resourceful2 but I believe you have import those resource icons in your mod. However these extra icon loss when I use my xml translation, which cause the word in game and gamepedia became wierd. So I have to delete those imported [icon_resource_xxx] in DIONYSUS and ATHENA localized Text. Well it is not so bad since I just remove only 6 icons code.

I think these 2 problem may caused by the running order, but no matter how I change the order, the outcome never changes. I am really upset about this. I know it is hard for you to know my situation just through my words. But if you figure out how to solve this, please let me know.

During the work, I found 2 problem that I cannot understand:

1. I tried to copy your LOC_OP.sql file and rename it as LOC_OP_Translation.sql file. Then change every "en_US" to "zh_Hans_CN". Then I translate the Text one by one. I believe I didn't make any format mistake. But if I start a game in Chinese with both LOC_OP.sql and LOC_OP_Translation.sql, these pantheons show in English. If I start a game with only LOC_OP_Translation.sql, these pantheons show in "LOC_OP_XXXX". This was really annoying and it waste me 1 day to test over and over again. Finally I gave up and I just make a xml version.

This mod is great! I tried to read through your codes and I learnt a lot from them. There is just a little problem that it does not have a Chinese translation.

Hey DB,

Me again. I am trying to figure out how to apply Pan's Pantheon to all floodplain types (for my own games, not to release) but I cannot figure out how to change how you've applied the yield bonuses. It seems you've made an ID for "Reeds" but I don't know how to get plains floodplains and grasslands floodplains included in "Reeds"

Any advice you could give I would greatly appreciate
