What if you ad a special great general to this civ, as a bonus to it's special ability maybe, called great commander. Basically a great general but harder to get and able to engage in combat. One super unit so to say.

I just feel it's a shame commander Shepard isn't in the mod somehow, it would make sense for him to fly the Normandy (have the normandy as the unit, like an airship) aswell.

No Mako unique unit? I'm surprised you wouldn't go for everyone's favorite APC.
Roadhouse699 27 Apr, 2018 @ 8:22pm
Shepard should have his own civ that's just a giant orgy
Maximum Broly! 20 Oct, 2014 @ 12:03pm
Any chance of adding this to Beyond Earth?

How do I produce Planetary Combative Facilities?

Too lazy.
Pluvia  [author] 16 May, 2014 @ 5:29pm
@Hawkpath - That'll be a conflicting mod. Check for one with the same city names.
✧Starshadow Melody✧ 16 May, 2014 @ 2:55pm
Names are broken for me.
✧Starshadow Melody✧ 15 May, 2014 @ 3:17pm
PERFECT.

I played as Hackett and the reduced cost for land units was very helpful, but not over-powered. I never got far enough to test the N7, but the fact that it can only be built in cities that already have Planetary Combatives seems fair. The graphics were good too. The Alliance has a really cool symbol in general. I think it needs opening narration and maybe custom music from the game though. If you need someone to do narrations, let me know.

@Jay Matz - Sorry for the delay, but the troubleshooting should help you out.
Jay Matz 22 Aug, 2013 @ 6:17pm
Hi Pluvia, Excelent collection. I'm having trouble using all of them... I mean, in my mod page, only 7 appear. Do you plan to upload a Mod with all of them in one mod only? Good job!!

UPDATE V.4 - AI updates.

Remember not to update if you want to continue a saved game.
Matsimann 3 Aug, 2013 @ 4:37pm
The UB is rather underpowered. Yeah, it gives +5 Exp, but 5 extra Exp is rather insignificant, seeing as you can't use it to gain any more promotions from a recently produced unit than you can with the standard Military Academy. Also, the rough terrain bonus to Gunpowder units is REALLY insignificant. No current promotion in the unmodded game gives such a small Combat Power bonus (the lowest is 10%), and on top of that, it's restricted to only working in rough terrain. The only real advantage of this UB is the +1 Happiness.

I suggest you change it to giving the standard +15 Exp, but also giving the Drill 1 promotion (Drill 2 with the Alhambra) for free to Gunpoder units produced in the city. That way, with the Brandenburg Gate or Alhambra in the city, or if the civ chose the Total War Autocracy Tenet, Gunpowder units produced in the city would immediately qualify for the most advanced promotions, such as March or Blitz.

Your mods are great, but im having problems getting three civ mods to work (Systems Alliance , Cerberus, and Quarians). After subscribing, they simply dont show up to be activated.
BoneChalkBard 30 Jul, 2013 @ 12:07am
Awesome! Can't wait!
Pluvia  [author] 29 Jul, 2013 @ 11:59pm
@Kagato - Yes. Possibly within the next 24 hours.
BoneChalkBard 29 Jul, 2013 @ 11:55pm
Are you going to be putting the newer civs/updates up on civfanatics soon? I'm really eager to try them all out since what I've played so far has been really awesome.
Pluvia  [author] 29 Jul, 2013 @ 2:47pm
@TheLampshade - There's no pack, but there's the Collection, which is in every races description.
TheLampshade 29 Jul, 2013 @ 2:37pm
Sorry, see now that there is one, but the link to it is only in some of the race descriptions. SHould be in the rest yeah? Love your work.
TheLampshade 29 Jul, 2013 @ 2:34pm
This has probably been asked somewhere already, but can you put all of your races in a pack?

UPDATE V.3 - The N7 now correctly requires the PCT, rather than the Military Base.

The Protheans have been released.
Silver Knight 11 21 Jul, 2013 @ 3:52pm
@Pluvia - Thanks for the check. I'll try to find out what's wrong on my side, hopefully it works out in my next Batarian game. Keep up the good work! Looking forward to the PROTHEANS, yeah!
Pluvia  [author] 21 Jul, 2013 @ 3:28pm
@Silver Knight - Just checked, turns out I accidently made the requirements for it a Military Base rather than the PCT. That'll be fixed in the next update which should be here around about the time the Protheans are out. As for your GG problem, the glitch that was stopping them from spawning wouldn't have affected Prophets or Admirals, and the GG glitch is fixed as long as you have V.2 of the Collectors. Simply put, that wont be fixed as no errors are flagging on my side and if I can't replicate it I can't fix it.
Silver Knight 11 21 Jul, 2013 @ 3:11pm
Great job on the ME series! A little report, though, the N7 unit cannot be produced, because it requires the Military Base? I thought it had been replaced by the PCT? Oh, and by the way, I have the same issues about not generating great Prophets and Great Generals/Admirals, as in my Salarian game. I did not have the Collector v. 2, but I do now, and I still have the same problems. Thank you.
Pluvia  [author] 18 Jul, 2013 @ 5:22pm
The Batarians have been released.
Pluvia  [author] 16 Jul, 2013 @ 6:04pm
@Stephen - They, apart from Shepard, are spies.
Elrofrost 16 Jul, 2013 @ 5:43pm
It would be relaly cool if you could work in Shepard, Kaidan, James, Ash (and the rest) as great generals.
Pluvia  [author] 11 Jul, 2013 @ 5:38am
The Salarians have been released.
Pluvia  [author] 10 Jul, 2013 @ 11:20am
The Elcor have been released.
RedRapture 10 Jul, 2013 @ 9:14am
Sweet!
Pluvia  [author] 10 Jul, 2013 @ 9:07am
@RedneckRapture - Apparently they do. They don't have the new AI flags though, so I'm assuming there's some sort of default that BNW will give them all to replace the missing components.

So basically, it seems these do work for BNW, but the AI might use some of the new BNW stuff in an "out of character" way. Also I'll be releasing actual BNW compatible versions when the G&K versions are done.
RedRapture 10 Jul, 2013 @ 8:47am
Will this and other custom civs work in brave new world?
Pluvia  [author] 8 Jul, 2013 @ 10:08pm
@bg - There's an ongoing bug in these civs that, for reasons unknown, makes the GG spawns wonky.
-bg- 8 Jul, 2013 @ 10:00pm
anyone else have the problem of Great General not spawning when playing as this civ? My last game as this civ had the great person bar went to like 6x higher than the points it need to spawn one but I still never get one, other civs still get them normally though.
Pluvia  [author] 1 Jul, 2013 @ 9:05pm
To explain the update, making it so only Naval Ranged units benefit from the trait makes the Alliance more of a late game civ, reducing their overall effectiveness in every era. The First Contact combat reduction also means the Alliance still gain an advantage, but the advantage has been reduced to be more manageable by the other races and to stop the Alliance walking over them.

The PTC changes were to decrease its overall power, as the bonuses it grants are still quite great, and the N7 city penalty is simply to stop them being used to take cities, but their overall effectiveness on the battlefield has basically been untouched.
Pluvia  [author] 1 Jul, 2013 @ 8:45pm
UPDATE V.2 = First Contact bonus reduced from 15% - 10%. Naval Melee units no longer benefit from the trait. PTC extra experience reduced from 25 to 20. PTC rough terrain bonus reduced from 10% - 5%. N7 now suffer a penalty when attacking cities. Adjusted coding to reduce text conflicts with mods not related to this collection.

Makicide 30 Jun, 2013 @ 9:54am
Ahh that makes sense then. I think a certain Touhou civ is to blame then. Nevertheless, I'll await the update.
