I'm getting a lot of errors from certain alpha animals like Aerofleets and Wildpawns, and spawning an arctic lion with dev mode does... this.

how do you farm the isk spiders for their silk? managed to tame a couple of them and on their info under productivity its only showing me that they produce eggs? Is hyperweave/cindersilk farming just something that happens over time?

I recommend Xenotype Spawn Control mod for that. Otherwise they should only spawn with the Wanderer Joins events or similar (as slaves in Empire caravans, etc)

No, it's in Alpha Genes. You'd need to get the gene or another Forsaken colonist

So this mod adds the forsaken, is there a way to turn off "forsaken knoweldge" needed to build stuff or wield stuff, I had a Forsaken pawn who planted special crops, and made armour and weapons, but since he's died none of my pawns can use the clothing or weapons due to not having the knowledge

First of all, not this mod... Second, the mecha hybrids are not mechs, they are hybrids. Different thing altogether. They can get diseases, they don't need a mechanitor.

Could you give the mecha animals another quality pass? They have fallen behind the times with what a mechanoid is now. Along with dying to things that a regular animal would die to rather than an android or machine. =)

iirc they also keep the winter pelt if the map temperature is low enough, you shouldn't keep those inside

Well that's the problem - she isn't on ice, she's on soil. And still insists on her winter pelt. Which is causing heatstroke.

@Hydro Master: Their hunger is much much higher. They'll only turn if starved

@ShadowX116: Chameleon yaks change pelts depending on the terrain. You need to keep them on ice for the winter pelt

I'm playing an ice sheet mountain save and got a Chameleon Yak from the sky.
She started with winter fur, then switched to normal(?) fur, then switched back to winter even after putting her in a room with ducks, a heater and regular soil-covered flooring. She's now generating heatstroke constantly.

How does the Chameleon Yak wool mechanic work? How do I convince her to not give herself heatstroke? xP
