Several people mentioned ruins made entirely of mudbrick, which is annoying and not so realistic, because stone ruins would last a while, while made of mudbrick wouldn't. This is actually base game issue, what I know now is changing mudbrick price from 0.05 per unit to 0.90 per unit like stone block has fixes the ruins.
Mod is mostly CE compatible, which is big YAY. But some stats for single plank of laminated wood picked as weapon are missing, that causes error messages. Quite easy to patch, fixed locally.
Very odd thing is materials have beauty multipliers, but not have beauty offsets. Especially glass, which has unique mechanics for walls, yet walls have 0 beauty and multipliers do not change that 0. This is quite unlike both vanilla and other modded materials, which most often if not always have both beauty multiplier and offset if they are "beautiful".
1.) Open your rimworld mods folder, I personally manually download them with the workshop downloader ( just search it in your search engine) but for most of you it will be
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rimworld\Mods\1541903513
I believe that is how mods from workshop are stored, if not then sorry I do not know.
2.) Navigate to here
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rimworld\Mods\1541903513\Defs\ThingDefs_Buildings
3.) Open the file "Buildings_Masonry.xml" in a text editor
4.) Go to line 225 and change
<thingCategories Inherit="false" />
to
<thingCategories Inherit="true" />
5.) Save the file and blam no more pawns not hauling the building and making you have an aneurysm. You will still get an error saying that it isn't haulable in dev mode but you can store it
What about using the mod with "Coal Expanded"?
God, looking through his code, he really made things hard work... 2 steps for fabrics? constantly reprocessing oil over and over again? argh!
BTW It is possible to make from glass something other than glass walls, because it has a 300% beauty factor, but it cannot be turned into a sculpture. (or i not noticed something)
With Fertile Fields, I need to worry about my sand being in a cup or not.
With RF's Concrete, I need to worry if my concrete comes in a better looking bag (Atlas' bags are better, in my opinion.)
and finally, but not needed, how about some integration with plastics when it comes to Rimefeller?
