Do any of you also have the problem that the fishing spot keeps "vanishing" from the spot where you placed it on a river?

Seems to work fine enough (barring the pre-existing error I reported in the past) for 1.5. @Pyrce - lemme know if you intend on fixing the mod, and updating to 1.5, or have abandoned it. If the latter, I may rework it and fix the issue myself at a later date. Thanks

mmm when not fishing for food, some see it as a recreational pasttime, so could the spot also be used for recreation, so pawns looking to relax get some small mood buff as long the spot is not occupied.

Been meaning to report this for some time, but since despite it being a red error, it does not seem to have any impact on the game (and only reports in Dev mode), I have kinda been ignoring it but happens every time a dolphin shows up:

I have made a re-texture add-on for this mod if anyone is interested. Please note you must still have this mod installed, since this was designed to only updates the textures, and not take away from the original work.

BTW @pyrce - Not sure what mod is doing it, but for some reason the fishing rod textures (either with my retexture addon, or just with your main mod) will not display when assigning a pawn to work. It appears to be down to one of like 30 or so mods I have yet to eliminate as the culprit

That aside, @TheSilverNuke - "can't cook" issue - It seems that pre-exisitng bills will ignore fish meat. One has to clear bills and reapply for pawns to use fish meat in cooking. So that is that mystery solved :3

Hello. First, thanks for the mod work. Second, I've noticed that, despite being able to make fine meals out of fish, the show as being "Vegan" as if the fish was a veggie. It shows the veggie version of all various food types when its used. Not sure if that's an easy fix or not, but I thought I'd let you know.

All deep water (including chest deep) has active fish. The only constraint is you can't have two fishing spots within 13 squares in the same water source.

Any chance a future update can provide hints of what areas have active fish?? For example when the geysers blow we see the steam.... perhaps a similar fish jumping out of water can happen?

Suggestion: You've set the distance, and work time as modifiable preferences. Would it be possible to make it an option to make it possible to fish out of shallow water? Overall, great mod. simple, effective, and to the point.

Thanks for this great mod. The additional protein source is great for survival, and makes maps with water make a lot more sense. One flaw is the Job report is "Cleaning" which is confusing because it seems like the same thing as cleaning the floors. I'd really rather this Job would appear as "Cleaning Fish" or something more accurate. Thanks!

i always wondered why this one is not compatible with Rainbeau's Fishing. Other than the lagg it can cause, is there any other game breaking problem with using both at the same time? It would be nice if the two mods could work together even if they work in a different way.

There's a new butcher task for cleaning fish. This gives you fish meat that you can cook.

Ok I think I found the issue. In updating to 1.2 I accidentally broke 1.1 (it was trying to load the 1.0 version instead of 1.1 version). Should be fixed not for 1.1.2654 if you could check?

The error is happening for all pawns, when attempting to force a pawn to do work, Achtung throws an error on right click. I believe the entire worktype for my game has broke.

I'll double-check to see see if for some reason I disabled handling, Work Tab might be why. If it was from pawns with it removed, I'll let you know.

I think it might be related to a pawn having handling skills forbidden (which you can't get in vanilla). Is it happening for each pawn or a certain one? This does look like a cross-mod issue you're hitting and I'm not sure which of those 194 are causing it.

Hmm I can't reproduce the issue without seeing the stack / modlist. If I load just this mod the close-by fishing spot block and actual fishing are both working as expected.

I've also noticed I can suddenly place fishing spots close together, which is not something that was possible before. Most likely a bug?

The error occurs whenever a colonist goes to fish. And, yes it is in English. I tried to post the full error but it won't fit due to character limit

Getting an error whenever a pawn attempts to do fishing. Playing on 1.1, only appeared recently on this update.
