Waiting for a fix to make it more realistic soon!
...unless someone's made a mod adding a species which eats rocks 🤔
But thanks for the comment! I'm glad you enjoy it :P
Albeit simple, this mod became essential to me. Can't play without it anymore. This should be in vanilla.

It makes sense for concrete to be more valuable than stone you mine from the ground, given the additional work involved, and the difference in wealth isn't significant unless you're playing on the highest difficulties and really min-maxing your wealth.
I will most likely still use this mod but it's just something that might be annoying for people which don't want more tribals attack them because they heard that the person build some fresh concrete walls.
Thank you for reading
They stack to 75 mainly for consistency with other building materials rather than any logical stack limit. I try to stay consistent with vanilla rather than applying logic, and I can't think of any vanilla building materials with a lower stack count off the top of my head.
Realistically, the amount of cement produced from a chunk would be significantly smaller than the size of the chunk, since you're burning away byproducts, but the ratio would not be as drastic as it is now.
Thanks for taking the time to think about this so much, lol. I'll try and work on the texture in the near future, but I can't make any promises since I'm dealing with a lot of burnout atm.
When you break down stone chunks or stone blocks into cement it reduces what is a very large item down to a very small number, which can then be stacked up to 75. For example I can turn a whole zone of stone chunks into 1-2 stacks of cement. Maybe there is a way to make this less drastic? say only allowing cement to stack to 10 or making the bills produce and cost more cement so piles accumulate faster? and maybe making the sprite look like a decent sized pile of material?
I feel like I'm turning whole yards of rock into a couple piles of salt atm.
However, I found the required work involved to use the material way too low. A limestone spike trap takes 323 while a concrete trap takes 27... I can understand that it'd be easier to work with but it shouldn't obsolete the construction job. Gonna make a modification on the material but I figure'd I'd throw a comment here for it. Thanks for the mod!
I review any pull requests, if it looks good I'll accept!
I've been there :)
Also, do you take compatibility pull requests?
