I cannot confirm or deny, but maybe this mod is crashing my game at slaves turn. I think it may be this one as i seen other comments about it too. I have Radious mods.

does this mod make regular slave revolts more common ? Just played with this mod and got like 6 slave revolts back to back... never happened to me before and it was campaign ruining.

I used PUR version of this mod P_U_R_SW_submod_pirates_mod.pack. It crushes DEI population system and needs translation of screens yet brings pirates in gameplay.

I've used this mod playing DEI and have had no problems though I haven't finished playing a game through yet so I wouldn't know if it would eventually cause a crash. It is a nice mod.

I know this is a little bit different to what you have done, but do you think you could make a mod which takes away vision of sea territories even if you completely own the sea with exception of trade routes, that would make the fog of war better, would make pirates and other navies sneaking up on settlements better.

This mod is amazing, and has really made my early game much more interesting. I was dealing with pirate fleets, slave revolts in Magna Graecia, and then a full-blown succession! The Republic almost didn't make it. Since the two major slave revolts already triggered for me, is that it for them? I think it would be nice to have a few more!

Great work, great mod! Is it possible to make a mod with spawning germanic raider landarmies for the empire divided campaign on the Balkans, northern italy and france/belgium? That way the roman Player would have to garrison this provinces in the late game. It would be a real nice Addition to the campaign

Turn 65 pirates are a no show.Got a message saying something like pirates are raiding everywhere. I am running a fair amount of mods but the only one I am bit suspicious about is skidvars scripts could be conflicting?

I just released a new update:

- You will no longer see two pirate ships emerging in adjacent regions after a short period of time. For example, if a pirate navy emerges in Sicily, the next one will emerge in a distant region (ex. in the Black Sea).
- The update also decreases the spawn rate of pirate ships.

I really like this mod a lot. Those big pirate navy stacks add a lot more fun to the game, help to beat down powerful factions a little, and add in a way for more fun naval battles.
My problem is my game won't load anymore and crashes during load. The game loads fine when I disable the pirate mod. I think this mod is not compatible with a recent update on the game. I could be wrong.

Do you have any idea if the DEI version is coming out any time soon? Also, try making the DEI version a little bit easier (less pirates or increased cooldown time) since DEI makes the game harder and the upkeep for units, specially naval, is so God damn high, keeping a 20 fleet during the early campaing is out of the question. I know you could use armies, but if your army isn't there to defend, having your cities razed will ruin your economy, which is also more fragile than the vanilla's.

Yes, that's a good idea. I might consider implementing it in the future. However, if I do, it's very likely that the new update will not be save game compatible.

@Boicote I have disabled and then reenabled my mods and it resulted in success, as all mods worked in perfect concert with one another. Not a problem, lovely mod, though I find the pirates spawning in quick succession in the same waters, often one spawning in Neapolis and within 5 turns one at Karalis. They also spawn in very large numbers early on, while my navy hasn't prepared, nor any other and it would seem more logic for pirates to be building up their apocalypse fleets, rather than have them in full force already. JS.

No. To make them playable it would be necessary to make additional changes in the game, including in the startpos.esf file.

There are many mods to unlock all factions. Some of them are outdated. Which one are you using?
In your campaign have you already see the pop-up message saying that pirates have been raiding the shores?

Yes, it is. That's what CA did with the Samnites in the Rise of the Republic campaign. They have a political option that allows them to recruit an entire army instantly. The mechanic behind this is an event that makes and army to spawn under the control of the human player.

I have the ALL FACTIONS AVAILABLE mod, which I used to play as the Etruscan league.. However, even after the 70th turn, no pirates anywhere. Also, do they only spawn near the player's settlements, or do they also wreak havoc among the British Isles as the player is situated in the middle east (should there be pirates at all, as I played as the Etruscans and still nae pirates)?
