@Dolly-Chan I eventually found out that you can disable drop pod raids in RimWar's mod options, so we don't need to use both.

@Magnus I just started a new game with Rim War and the updated version of this with the same name I believe and it also says Rim War incompatible. Anyways, I got a drop pod raid last night and that sucked. So drop pod raids still happen. I am going to test later to see if loading the turtle mod after Rim War has any change.

Hello. Can someone tell me what are the possible consequences of the Rim War incompatibility? Will it simply not work, screw the save, or just some minor problems? Thanks.

This mod appears to still work. Should just update the version number to 1.4, I don't think it needs any other changes as far as I can tell.

Ok, so there is another paragraph in the (exposed) game definition file RaidStrategies_Breach.xml, looks like this:

<selectionWeightCurvesPerFaction>
<li>
<faction>Mechanoid</faction> <!-- Special case for mechanoids -->
<selectionWeightPerPointsCurve>
<points>

Just change the points, to

<li>(0, 0.0)</li>
<li>(1, 0.0)</li>

And it should block mechanoid breach raids

Need to disable the mechanoid termites, those things blow through plasteel walls like paper. Maybe I'll research how to do this myself

Oops kaakeli you are right, I accidentally added an extra s. It is "Rim War" but yeah it seems like Rim War overrides or messes with drop pods for some reason

rim wars has its own raid handlers and will overwrite this

Everything was operating ok until I added a mod called "Rim Wars" and now drop pod raids are happening again. One drop pod raid was the haywire randomly scattered event and the other was one where they dropped right on top of me. I just put this mod at the very very bottom of the load order and I now hope it will work again. I rely on your mod to not die in this game because I suck, so ty for making this mod.

Please fix dev, I just got a siege so it seems thats an issue too, i hate updates that break mods.

As of the most current update, it doesn't stop thumpers from spawning, which tunnel into your base.

Does this work with VFE insects? I want to be attacked by insects but not in any cheap op bullshit ways such as insect sappers, insect breach or tunnelers.

Hi your mod doesn't seem to stop Breach raids from occurring. I tried it on it's own with Royalty, Ideology, Harmony and Hugslib on a fresh save (just to make sure it wasn't me adding it to an existing colony that was the issue) and 8 out of 10 mech raids I Dev spawned were breach raids.

Good news everyone!
Turtle Friendly Raids has been updated for 1.3! It no longer disables mechanoid sieges, but it does disable breach attacks now. I'm not playing much RimWorld at the moment, but it should work. Please let me know if it doesn't!

So im using this mod, but im still getting drop pod raids, had 2 in less then 20 minutes of eachother, they where sieges though. i know they are not deactivated by this mod but i thought drop pod sieges where deactivated.

Well didnt mind sappers but finally my living room is safe from some mechanoids/raiders just dropping in and killing my colonists

hello just for infomation when insect use the sapper mode for raid there is conflict with turtle friendly raid mod the mods is supposed to make the chance for sapper to 0 and choose anothers type but with vanilla faction : insectoid the raid happen but only the sapper come there is the log i report to the others mods too :) https://gist.github.com/af504b442ec3fca2cfd2aeb11b95dccf

this may already have been answered but i couldnt find it anyway to only disable drop pods only im ok with sappers coming at me from map edges just not drop pods bypassing my layered walls and turrets
