It doesn't have to crash to generate a log, infact, it generates a log CONSTANTLY. You can see it if you activate debug mode, press the button at the top of the screen that opens the log, unpause your game, and let it run. You'll see it generate in real time.

No, you HAVE a log. Go to the game's logging folder. It's there

There's no log because it's not crashing, it's not doing anything out of the ordinary beside not moving on in the menu. I can hit the button, it depresses but nothing happens. Literally nothing. AFAIK a log is only created when an event happens, it doesn't create a log for no event happening :P

Don't know what to tell you my duder. Only running Alpha mods and Vanilla Expanded mods. I'll see if I can grab a video for you later :)

You DO have a log. The log generates even if the game crashes. Can't tell you anything without it except that it works for me

Took me all day to find the mod causing it and I love your work but this ones the one that's doing it. It stops me from hitting next after hitting "New Colony" on the start splash screen. The button depresses but doesn't proceed. I don't get an error report and it's not crashing, just literal nothing happens. Just a heads up.

Also on a separate note, thanks for the link to the patreon, I subbed for a bit. I've been enjoying yours and Oskar's mods for a long time and my game would be much worse if not for you guys. Keep up the great work, lots of love from Canada.

Hello friend, can you add a code to Keyed that reads language translations? There are so many types of bees that it's hard to put in a bee without a local language.

How do I apply things like the Nocturnal Bee's ability to work at night, or the Adaptive Bee's temperature tolerance to a bee I want?
For example, I'd like to have some electronic bees able to work year round, not just in the warm seasons.

Do I just hybridize them with the Adaptive Bees, and that will give me Electronics Bees with a higher temp tolerance?

I love this mod, thank you for all the work you put into it! Someday, I'm gonna manage a base run by bees, but until then, they really spice up my play from colony to colony. It's interaction with other mods must have been a challenge (I know nothing about modding, myself) but it kinda gives me reason to try ones I wouldn't have otherwise. like the jewelry one!

Glad I'm taking a break from rimworld, waiting on getting a new PC that can handle all the new stuff(and old stuff, my current pc can't handle too many mods). It also gives time for the mods to update.

So, while rooting around looking for a much bigger problem with my supermassive modpack, I discovered this red error. For this log specifically, I ran ONLY Alpha Bees, Biomes! Islands, and all of both mods' dependencies and still got this error.

Sorry about moving this to the main comment thread. I have since solved the mentioned problem with my supermassive (data for a Star Wars mod got corrupted), and I'll also put this comment in the Biomes! Islands mod's comments.

Use my Compatibility Patch. It adds what you both want. For the former, it adds the ability to use the VFE Medieval II Mod's honey in any recipe. For the latter, it creates an uniform Beesearch Research Tab and ties research together.

Howdy! I adore this mod and am planning on making a colony all centered around bees. I seem to be having an issue, though. I have an area to put a bunch of hives in, but whenever I put a bee in, both queen and drone, they eventually get removed. I'm not sure if my colonists are removing them, or if they're just getting kicked out, because they aren't being deleted, they show back up in my storage. The room is enclosed and the hives are side-by-side, so I'm wondering if that's the issue? Any help would be wonderful, thank you!

I may be an idiot who cannot see a button, But it would be nice to have a anomaly-type codex for discovered bee types, As i have a bad memory, Don't want to write anything down, And don't want to cheat/check.

Plus a bee codex would be cool, Would make it a more of a colony-colony thing. (Unless there's a really obvious bee-Codex i'm too slow to see.)
