I just realized I was the latest comment here last time too. Just wanted to say this mod works in 1.6 so far. A few hours into a 1.6 play through and I've had no issues, so it seems safe to use.

Thanks so much for the 1.5 update! Ive used this mod for so long that I forgot just how much I appreciate the different looking soil added by this mod. really has become a quiet must-have

Would it be possible for you to also tweak the graphics on the various types of ash from Ashlands?

This mod in general is really nice, but the stony soil texture is sadly quite ugly in a desert map, where you have large areas of it and the texture pattern repetition becomes very obvious. :(

Is it compatible with any landretexture mod?

Yes I know about the fertility toggle button. Whenever I needed to plant a farm I'd turn it on but with this mod you don't even really need that. You can see at a glance where all the good and terrible soil is right now. I also kinda like how it gives more visual variation to the map. Really enjoy it. Thanks a tonne.

Well, the Vanilla ones look that much similar, so even people with good sight have to struggle to find any difference

The base game also has a nice feature you might don't know about: there's an round icon in the right bottom corner - "toggle fertility overlay"
It paints cells in different bright colors depending on their fertility. Can be very useful

This is an amazing texture mod. Makes it so much easier for poor sighted people like myself.

God I love this mod so much. So appreciative. I actually forgot this WASN'T vanilla and a friend that just started playing asked for help and sent a screenshot and I was like why do you just have dirt, no rich soil or stony soil?
