@Artanis Creed - its a royal pain in the butt to do though since you cant just import into the stats editor easily. I'm going through the hastle now trying to import my pariah mod to do stuff with NSE.

hi, i have a problem. the trader on lady vengence ddont like to speak with me.
i cant buy more spells. in fort joy is that no problem but after fort joy is the trader buggy and i can't buy anymore spell

@alex33x you have to use the Void Attunement skillbook before any others, and make sure the skill is used and that you have the "Void Attunement" status.

This was required to keep abilities in line with their respective elements.

I subscribed but I can't learn any skills, when I try to use the books it tells me I need to be atturned to the void to use them.

For a few reasons, no, it can not.

In subsection "Oddities with the Mod"
"4) Elemental Affinity Doesn't Work?!: The way the talent works is by reducing skill cooldowns from the entire skill related to the surface. (IE standing in water reduces all Hydro skills). Summoning DOESN'T have a surface that it correlates with, you can't get Affinity to pro"

I would retroactively have to break the mod and make it completely non-functional to do this.

As well, as stated in the page, I had to discontinue updates to this mod due to a wiped hard drive causing me to lose all of the files.

If it's a hang due to clearing tags on that point in the game, then there's not much I can do to fix it.

As stated below I have no access to files on the mod so I can't really explore and fix the bug.

i loaded up a previous save and it worked again but i got back to the same point(murgas challenge in act 2, after killing blindfolds) and it stopped working again

i have been playing the mod and it had been working fine but all of a sudden the attunments stopped working and my element no longer change, the animation still goes off and the ability goes on cooldown but nothing changes

@pecbounce I would love to add one, and I was experimenting with one for a while, but all of my files related to the project were wiped and I haven't been able to recover them as the Divinity Engine doesn't have a cloud save or backup functionality

So after some experimenting, I found that you must have memorized the Void Attunement skill if you want to be attuned to other elements! May I also suggest adding a mobility skill? Thanks

Oh, that. You have to buy the "Void Attunement" skill and use it before you can learn other things.

It's a prevention measure so that skills all stayed lined with the same element

I think it's a good idea but after I bought the skills and want to learn it, it said I must "attuned the void" or I can't learn it. Is it means I need to start a new game and only learn the skills of this mod? Thank You

Generally the meaning behind the "attunement" idea is that you've focused yourself to be in tune with that specific element.
It's a bit of a weird concept but one presented to me by a friend who I originally did this mod for.

Honestly I am really enjoying this class so far, before this came out I was telling my friend how I wanted to do literally every element in the game and also have summons. I like being that kind of wizard/mage. I just wanted to say thank you for this mod, love it.

I just tried testing things and everything seems normal on my end at least while running only Elementalist/Cheat Commander.
Some possible explanations off the top of my head:
A: Too many script heavy mods loaded; This might cause the scripts controlling my mod to hang or not work when other mods with global scripts are used/too many mods are used at once
B: Multiplayer Online might throw a wrench in how the system checks global scripts; This delay or missed checks in the Global Scripts would cause the game to ignore some interactions caused by the mod
C: Previously Unknown conflict with some other mod; This obviously happens from time to time.
D: Bad install; Typical bad installation issues. Sometimes you don't get all the data, best thing to do is to unsub/delete from the folders and then re-sub and reinstall the files just in case.

P.S. Switching between all attunements works for my friend (host) but gets stuck on water for some reason.

The recent patch from Larian seems to be causing a lot of conflicts with some mods being used in Multiplayer lobbies.
I haven't heard of anything that can be done fix wise yet, but really it's just a waiting game to see if they patch it, otherwise this may be restricted to single player games sadly :/

Hey @Ryuki, I'm not sure if this is an incompatibility issue or not, but I can't seem to get the mod to work correctly in me and my friends co-op game. Anytime that I switch attunements, I am unable to switch back to any other attunement. A theory of mine was that maybe it wasn't working because I'm not the host but I'm at a loss right now. I can't think of what could be causing this to happen. Any help would be very much appreciated!

I will look into trying to add those, though it will be some time before I can successfully do so if I make it happen.
Adding additional skills takes a lot of scripting, effects creation, balancing, and debugging to properly get implimented at this point with the way I've had to Frankenstein scripts to get the mod to work correctly.

I will try my best to do something in that realm, but if it starts causing conflicts with the main portion of the mod then I will have to stop and scrap the skills.

@Towerdepths Hey, I looked into this and I'm releasing a patch soon, but this patch is going to come with a weird effect.
To keep the skills aligned with the attunements, they will be thrown onto your hot-bar and activated from inactive memory, but this is the only way to keep you from having to re-buy skills or go through the hassle of changing attunements 50 times to get the skills back in line.

Example of what I'm seeing.
Ice Spike
Level 2 10 int 7-8 damage
Level 3 10 int 9-10 damage
Level 3 12 int 10-12 damage

So the game is scaling it off of INT and level in DE I guess. Description will be updated.

I just can't seem to get this to work. I unchecked everything except this mod and fort start joy and started a new save. Is it a really low scaling for summoning for the damage spells?
