In case you are unaware, the average temperature in Mesopotamia is actually on average higher than that in Egypt. Why then for the love of Ares does Seleucid never have high end heat resistant troops? All you get is shitty starter troops that are outclassed by every other faction in the region. I mean Seleucid literally starts next to a desert.

I love this mod. I was Hoping you could do me a favor and edit the Spartans to make their primary colors gold and secondary colors white. Please and thank you, I would really appreciate it.

could you make one that compadible with the parabellum mod with the bigger units and population submode? These units look great!
FranzZ  [author] 17 Feb, 2023 @ 4:37pm
The basic things I could get you to do would be:
Verify game files,
Check to make sure you have any and all dependencies from all of your mods and;
Make sure to have units at the lower end of your load order in case of using any mods that overhaul textures
samuraishogun994 17 Feb, 2023 @ 1:15pm
and all I have are just unit mods
samuraishogun994 17 Feb, 2023 @ 1:14pm
All of them and I don't know why
FranzZ  [author] 16 Feb, 2023 @ 10:43pm
@samuraishogun994 which unit are you having this issue with? What other mods do you have? I cannot replicate the issue on my end, all units appear fine.
samuraishogun994 16 Feb, 2023 @ 10:28pm
Updated yet all i see is white pale skin on the Units?

Well in a realistic context, purely going from that some remnants of the City of Troy ended up in Italy and procured a Colony for themselves.

As for in game I never actually play as Rome and nor did I add them to expand the Roman roster, however they have never been able to ever grow in the Multiplayer Campaigns I play. I had the option of either getting mods that boost the Roman economy or ones that make them unrealistically OP.

Seeing as neither of those really work/seriously alter the balance of the game, I thought given that some people from the City of Troy ended up in Italy, I figured that the tradition of the Apollónia Agema could be added to Rome without being too outlandish. Rome has access to these units very early on as a basis of actually securing themselves in Italy without being trumped by constant enemies early on.
Aslan Ponto 1 Dec, 2020 @ 2:21am
Why does Rome have access to Apollonia Agema?
FriskyCheeks 20 Nov, 2020 @ 9:54am
thank you for the update!!!!
FranzZ  [author] 20 Nov, 2020 @ 5:53am
Update is out ladies and jellyspoons!

I hope you all enjoy it!
New pictures for the workshop will come out soon enough, be nice to see all the units in their glory with pictures that better represent them.

Also, it's nearly the 2nd Year Anniversary of this mod being released, time flies :cleanhourglass:
FriskyCheeks 14 Nov, 2020 @ 12:08am
In grand campaign. That’s cool man no rush. I mean you’re responding super quickly so that’s nice of you
FranzZ  [author] 13 Nov, 2020 @ 10:30pm
In GC or CB?

I possibly can do, but it wont be out till the next major update I do for this, which could be a week away yet
FriskyCheeks 13 Nov, 2020 @ 10:06pm
Ah gotcha makes sense. Is it possible you can make them recruitsble for general bodyguards please?
FranzZ  [author] 13 Nov, 2020 @ 8:20pm
The Royal Hellenic Swordsmen aren't available as a general for any of the Greeks they're available to.

I only have the the Seleucid and Baktria faction pack DLCs.

Royal Hellenic Swordsmen will require a Royal Barracks to be recruited from (Tier IV)

Also, not all units get implemented into Custom Battles for every faction they're available to, but you will find them in the Grand Campaign. The next update I'm working on may change this, but I don't see it's likeliness.
FriskyCheeks 13 Nov, 2020 @ 8:11pm
Franzz, they weren’t in the roster and I wasn’t available to recruit them for a generals body guard when I tried :/
FranzZ  [author] 13 Nov, 2020 @ 3:02pm
Royal Hellenic Swordsmen should be available to Massilia without the DLC
FriskyCheeks 13 Nov, 2020 @ 9:27am
can you make this mod available without all the required DLCs please? or make a standalone Royal Hellinic Swordsmen mod for Massilia?
FranzZ  [author] 11 Nov, 2020 @ 2:37am
Well, Massilia might be getting some love after all..
Hitherasteroid7 25 Apr, 2019 @ 6:10pm
Massilia
?
FranzZ  [author] 22 Jan, 2019 @ 11:33pm
Well, 90% of these units are better than elite units, they are priced so they don't become mains and full armies of, very much OP units. I have no real control over weapon damage, unless I was to create a custom weapon. Most greeks will use a spear, and as such, are armed with the spear weapon in the files. Used correctly (and this goes for any unit), they can literally dominate a field
evanmrogers 22 Jan, 2019 @ 12:47pm
i love the mod and the design to all the units but their stats arent worth the gold you spend, i feel like the cost needs to eb decreased slightly or the att damage and wep damage for basically all the units needs to be increased to better than the other elite units at base stat level
Rhalius 6 Jan, 2019 @ 1:48am
They sadly don't tend to look very unique however. Most basegame greek units look like the same rabble because all of them use all helmet variants pretty much. Even the unique hoplite units. They just tend to have either different shields or different body armor.

So yes, more like your spartans would be great. Maybe using only a single helmet type and possibly uniform capes or tunics. Only red capes would look beautifull on your spartans I bet.
FranzZ  [author] 5 Jan, 2019 @ 5:14pm
Kind of how I did Sparta a special Hoplite? Or even Egypt with Veteran?

This could be done for sure. But I also don't want to conflict too much (personally) with base game units as well (I like abit of flavour and variety in my army's). I believe most Greek factions someway or another have their own unique Hoplite, such as; Cimmerian Hoplites, Massilian Light Hoplites, Agema Spears (Pergamon), Colchian Nobles, Baktrian Royal Guard.

There is of course, a few exceptions like Macedon and Seleucid which both share Shield Bearers
Rhalius 5 Jan, 2019 @ 11:36am
I really like this mod, nice to see some love for the greek factions!

I have a suggestion, do with it what you will of course, but I think it could be really cool if each greek faction received it's own unique hoplite unit to be the backbone of their army.

I also really don't like how messy the standard hoplite unit looks since they use all helmet variants. Makes them look like some rabble of militia and not a unified army so a unique alternative would be a very welcome change.
FranzZ  [author] 18 Dec, 2018 @ 6:39pm
Thankyou :)
-.- 11 Dec, 2018 @ 2:13pm
TY! Very nice units :)
FranzZ  [author] 30 Nov, 2018 @ 4:21am
I can look into it, don't get your hopes up. As I have said, I only do units. So I have no expectation of me fulfilling your request in the near future, or at all
Nomad416 30 Nov, 2018 @ 12:51am
Pretty please with a cherry on top? I'll spray paint your name on the Lunar Rover, if you do. :3
FranzZ  [author] 28 Nov, 2018 @ 12:14am
I mean, I could, but I only do units.
Nomad416 26 Nov, 2018 @ 4:37pm
Can we get the helmet symbol as a faction symbol for Athens? That is awesome.
FranzZ  [author] 26 Nov, 2018 @ 5:04am
Interesting idea, I may do so (both Asthetairoi and Pezhetairos). I'm not really to take requests, but that doesn't mean I won't listen to ya. (not to say that is really a request). Currently, this mod pack will sit as is, probably until I finish off my German roster expansion pack. I might dabble in adding a couple more units to this pack over time however :cleanhourglass:
Legend Of Rome II 26 Nov, 2018 @ 4:53am
you could add Asthetairoi
