In my case, I'd be ok with the exchange. For instance, I have an enclosed battery room, with the same atmosphere mixture as the hallway entrance. The battery room generates quite a bit of heat that is captured there, and I transfer it to other areas via pipe/radiators, and logic controlled vents, circulating the air to provide heat and atmos to small separated building without its own heating/atmos generation. So the only thing that is transfered is a small amount of heat. I'm going to give it a go writing the code. I'll buzz you if I get stuck. Cheers.

i understand, but it will mix a lil bit the air from both areas. the ic code for this will be very simple. if you need help with it than let me know that ;)

Good call...I hit the like button. What I was thinking wouldn't require vents for any pressure change, just open one door and close the other simultaneously.

if you love it, be friendly and like it ;) to seperte areas is this script optimal too. can easy set up with integration of 2 Passive vents, for each Active Vent one, the active vents between the doors and the passives in the areas. eg warm area <-> passthrough <-> cold area

Good stuff. Thanks for sharing. I'm just learing the IC chip coding and seeing stuff you all create is great for learning from.

This has got me thinking, that it would be cool to be able to have a set of doors that are Toggled (one opens - one closes) without the need for 3 consoles (2 slaved to the primary) for just a simple passthrough. I have an instance that doesn't need an airlock, but prefer to keep the areas seperate.
