Love the choice of the Legionary Cavalry being Gallic in appearance.
For the Auxiliary infantry, I was wondering if they could keep their Gallic appearance with Roman armor, but use something more Roman for a shield, like a green clipeus.
although they did fight with ariovistus' negotiating party i've got no clue if they (or others like them) fought in pitched battles, so i guess it's up to you whether they should be modelled in TW or not :P but i prefer your idea
nice looks
nice immersion
10/10
Are the blank red shield from a test build? All my units have the wing decals in a fresh CiG playthrough :)
The bodyguard units look Polybian because honestly, they would have. Greek style helmets would still have been worn by many Roman soldiers at the time, particularly officers, in addition to the classic Italo-Corinthian style (which I haven't included because the Vanilla model just doesn't fit with the new helmet designs from Extravaganza).
Moriaty - there's quite a bit of variation between Centurions and the game generates those variations randomly. The idea is to depict each Centurion as an individual with his own appearance and style (true to life).
@Vandamsel: You could be right (probably you are), but still I would prefer this fantasy helmet over the iron cast. That one sets out too much ingame, because it is much dented. It should be more polished then, being a new kid on the block?
But I use this mod with much respect and joy: it is so much better then the ones I used before for this time period.
Scipio Africanus - they're DeI assets. I basically use their models and textures without having the mod itself activated (I quite like Vanilla gameplay).
LUCKY DAY - you need to have the Roman Models Extravaganza downloaded and activated for this to work properly as it uses the models and textures from it.
rome2 - This will reskin some of the models in DeI, but it's not compatible.
Quimbly - Yeah, it's Kaziel's own design from his now defunct Early Romans pack.
