Hello, great mod by the way, thank you very much.
When i load the mod there two objects missing, there's any trouble to play without them or they are actually needed?

For the record, I've forked this project and I'm maintaining a version at https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3363614546&tscn=1733991259 in order to make a few scripting fixes. I'm trying to keep that one in good shape.

I've also responded to @Krigsprasten 's comments over there: it looks like his asset issue is probably a local mod caching problem, because all of the assets load just fine for me.

I haven't played this for years, but the creator stopped updating this mod years ago.
I don't remember missing assets, but I do remember saving in between missions to avoid most scripting issues.
If you save after finishing a mission (before spawning next one), you only have to reset some cards sometimes as described in the instructions for this mod.

There's several major issues with this:
• Tons of assets are missing, but it is impossible to know what assets are missing. This seems to be because dropbox and other things were used instead of the official cloud, linking to things that have subsequently died, and as time goes on, I'd expect this problem to just get worse.
• All(?) scripts seem to break after a save/load.
• An over-reliance on scripting makes houseruling almost impossible; even if you figure out how to save assets locally and modify them, you have to go through all the scripting and hope you don't miss something.

I am pretty desperate for a scaled-back high-functioning and fully featured version of this bundle. It has a lot of promise, but it does way too much and more than it needs to do. Instead of automation, it should empower players to ease-of-use.

Yes, this happens normally if you start a new game, but loading a save triggers the below problem, and a campaign can't be played without loading a save file, as it is too long

@Quantum: the buttons will reappear if you drop the relevant card into a stack (if they're stackable) or a bag (if not stackable) and then pull them back out. That triggers the scripting to re-add the clickable button.

I just learnt how to play this game and I wish to play it so much. Unfortunately, I haven't found the game in my country to buy it anymore, and TTS mods are mainly for Solo/CO-OP only, and even if I want to play like that, they don't give you the option to separate expansion reward/supply cards.

Not only this is the only mod that could provide normal games without limitations, but it is also the coolest one. Unfortunately, I cannot play, since there is the loading problem, where the buttons dissapear from the cards, and that error appears

(and yes, I tried the fix below many times, it just doesn't fix it for me)

Please, if you read this, please fix the loading problem so we can continue playing this wonderfull game on your amazing mod. It's too good of a mod to be lost as unusable

Onload, there's an asset that's broken. You'll find it, OP, by turning off Mod Caching in the Configuration menu.

I'd also like to reiterate the desire for a fix on campaign loads. Thanks!

The UI for rebel characters keeps disappearing after clicking "clear map". Any way/button to get that back besides resetting every rebel character?

Understandable. So I'll just have to save the board then setup a new game? that's doable. Little extra work but my players will just have to understand.

We always saved after clearing the board in between missions. Then we either played through a whole mission in one go (with lunch break often), or took a screenshot from imperial side and use it to set the table up next time. So we load the save from before that mission, so both sides have their upgrades etc. And then use the screenshot to set up to where we got into that mission.

It is a bit more work, but a campaign is doable this way.
Anyway, I doubt that the mod creator is still interested in updating this. They started this years ago already.

Is this Mod still updated? I don't mean to sound needy or anything but would it be possible to update the script so that it doesn't break after you load the game? It makes it literally impossible for me to host a Campaign. Other than that the game is honestly perfect and the work you've done is impressive.

I followed the instructions of @bogfish below and fixed the script error.
1.) Download Notepad++ if you don't already have it.
2.) Right click on a Mission Card in game and click the "scripting" menu option to pop-up the scripting screen.
3.) On the "global" section, copy the entire script and then paste it into a blank notepad++ doc.
4.) Delete line 484 and find / replace all != into ~=
5.) Return to your game in TTS and paste the new script from your notepad++ doc into the global script section in the game.
6.) Save and re-load your game. The repeating errors should stop. Drop Mission cards into GM bags and pull them back out to reset their scripts.

This is the process that worked for me.

I think I found a fix for the issue. I copied the scripts into notepad, changed all != into ~= (not sure if that's necessary) and then commented out line 484. Seems like that's trying to reference something that doesn't exist anymore and ends up breaking all the scripts as a side effect.

@drod I'm having an issue where loading the game will break scripts. The chat log is updated every few seconds with the message "nothing to save?", and no buttons appear on any cards or hero mats. This cannot be fixed by putting the entity into a bag and taking it out, as that results in the following error:

Error in script (Global) function <onObjectLeaveContainer>: chunk_3 (1924, 4-120): attempt to index a nil value

For the mission Into a Corner (Heart of the Empire), we need to take map sections from the GM only bag. But we can't figure out how. When I just drag the section out of the bag, it gets stuck on top of the bag. If I use the search function on the bag, I can drop the map section, but it hovers above the ground.
Is there some trick to do this properly? There is nothing about this in the notes.

Is there a way to change the colour of deployed groups? I noticed by default its always light grey and then dark grey (when deploying 2nd stormtrooper group for example), but that is difficult to distinguish. Is it possible to change this colour?
Also, I can't tell which attachment belongs to which group of mini's on the board. Did I miss something?

If you're missing a card, the easiest way to get it back is to start a fresh campaign and spawn all the cards again, then save the missing card to your "saved items". Then you can recreate it in your saved game.

Hi, I am having trouble loading any other campaign but the base game.
When I add 'twin shadows' or any other campaign for that matter, the cards don't show up, and they are nowhere to be found, so I can't load up the campaigns. Are they hidden somewhere?
Both the FAQ and the 'notes' sections are not helpful in this regard.

@Darzai - There is a function that pulls the map and makes a copy and puts it back, looks that is not working on that mission. So you will need to start a new game to play that mission. I will fix it so that this doesn't happen again.

Hi, we have problem loading Imperial Hospitality mission. We have tried saving and reloading the game, resetting the mission card, but the mission will not load properly. The objects are all over the place and the board sometimes doesn't appear.
We had no problems loading other missions.

HI, I've loved this mod and have been using for a weekly play group for about 2 years at this point. If you're still taking feedback, is there any way to rework some of the stairs and sloped areas collision boxes? The current implementation make its really hard to balance the minis when you scale them up to fit the board. The stairs are especially guilty of this. We've had to lock pieces in mid air to get them to stay in place. This goes for the hoth snow tile with a valley in the center and two slopes on either side (present in the Hoth finale). Thanks again for all the hard work that went into this mod.

AWESOME. This is nitpicking, but is there some way to change the color of the HP bars when spawning imperial units? I see the option to change the color of their base to black, teal, magenta, etc. but no way to change the color of the HP bar to match the base.
