the link you have on the mod page is linked to your mod.
luckily Inzeron posted the right link.
The Dadinator  [author] 31 Aug, 2021 @ 11:24pm
Sorry everyone but I stopped modding as of 2.2. I know there were people keeping the mod alive after that at least through 2,8 but haven't checked for 3.x versions.
jpadamz 31 Aug, 2021 @ 8:33pm
Do not use this mod. It will break the edicts menu if you linger too much or try to enact one or two.
Inzeron 30 Aug, 2021 @ 4:58pm
Обновите! Очень нужно…
Melkor Darkstar 29 Aug, 2021 @ 12:48pm
This mode is still broken as of 08/29/21
Slickcharms 24 Jul, 2021 @ 9:47am
I can confirm that this mod is broken and will crash your game, DO NOT USE.
Meltdown 13 Jul, 2021 @ 11:38am
This mod crashes your game when you go on the edict menu and go over the edicts for job relocation and stat giving. as of now this mod doesn't work at all which is sad it is much needed

please update it with the new pop growth changes i really want to use it again!
early_retirement 3 Jul, 2021 @ 4:16pm
I've isolated this mod as the cause of a crash when opening the edict menu. Please update I love this mod so much.
Ditronian 29 Jun, 2021 @ 2:33pm
Would kill for an update, the new 3.0 vanilla system is better than old vanilla but still terrible.
初雪 25 May, 2021 @ 12:02am

ChagatuAlin 3 May, 2021 @ 11:18pm
Please update :(
This is the most suitable one.
early_retirement 28 Apr, 2021 @ 12:09am
It's still needed for me, but I like resettling pops to my ring world.
3punkt1415 25 Apr, 2021 @ 1:06am
It was not really updated for a while and it didn't matter, but i asume it is not worth it anymore since pops do autoresettle too, and if i am not mistaken the devs said they will expand it to slave pops aswell. So this mod is really not needed anymore.
SSS-class Warlock 16 Apr, 2021 @ 3:18am
It still works according to a friend
Lord Ɨnquisitor 15 Apr, 2021 @ 5:40am
Do you plan to update to 3.0?

tathen 3 Mar, 2021 @ 3:47am
as said below this mod needs updating it kind of works until it desides to start turning everything to suck all the pops of your planets turning everything to rubble and leaving u with 1 planet full of very unhappy people
jfpunchcard 27 Feb, 2021 @ 9:16pm
Someone updated this mod to work with 2.8, but it'll crash and not really work. It'll move insane amounts of pops to random planets and ruin buildings like crazy. For example one planet suddenly had 50 unemployed pops on it, and planets that were fine before became ruined. So not only does it NOT solve the problem, but it ruins your planets, and crashes your game. So in essence, it's the perfect mod!

Tactical Wargamer (Richard) 16 Feb, 2021 @ 1:28pm
PLEASE UPDATE :)
p6kocka 2 Feb, 2021 @ 2:47pm
It somehow isn´t working. Have enabled everything, have free jobs and housing and the f... pop is sitting on its planet doing nothing
Nugget 2 Feb, 2021 @ 12:26am
no idea but it wont work for me for some reason. i did as people told in the comments, nothing helped. Also the market broke, the price for Food and Minerals became 0.2 and kept on that level
Lich King 29 Jan, 2021 @ 12:36am
AMAZING. Why this isn't in the base game blows my mind. It is like having an personal assistant who does nothing but move pops around, never realized how much time I spend doing this playing the game.
46Sora 24 Jan, 2021 @ 2:54am
IS there a way to mark a planet to not migrate TO? I'm using Gigastructures and they all move to birch world which is an infinite pop planet. But i want to migrate to everywhere else first
Crazed Dutchman 20 Jan, 2021 @ 10:54am
Thanks all for the testing.
Kief 10 Jan, 2021 @ 2:31am
This still works.
Катя Мяу <3 6 Jan, 2021 @ 8:00pm
Nvm what I just wrote, I forgot to check the policies tab.
Mod just perfectly shuffled all my unemployed and overcroded to my ringworlds without problems. 3,6K pops empire with barely any micromanaement!
Катя Мяу <3 6 Jan, 2021 @ 7:42pm
Mods seems to only partially work for me. It completely ignores ringworlds, and econumenopoli, and sometimes some random(?) planets as well, even if they have similar species and strata composition than other lanets that do get effected by the mod.
I have all DLCs except Necoids enabled, if that helps.
Kay 4 Jan, 2021 @ 11:59pm
@SirHook It works perfectly fine.. 4000+ pops and noone are unemployed thanks to this on 2.8.x
SirHook 4 Jan, 2021 @ 3:56pm
i so hope it gets updated some time soon
iforgotmysocks 29 Dec, 2020 @ 10:54am
Hm, looks like it just moves unemployed pops from one planet to another, if no jobs are available, which costs me 5k energy each month for no reason. Works pretty good, when jobs are available, but as soon as it starts shuffling unemployed pops around aimlessly, it can destroy the game within a few months for the player. Keep an eye out.
Morning Dove 11 Dec, 2020 @ 3:13pm
This works in current version, 2.8.1v Just follow the instructions in the original mod.
1. Go to your home world empire capital - go to decisions - turn on the mod
2. you can then after a month or two (it took that long for me to get access after step 1) change policies for the auto migration in policy tab.
Nicho 17 Nov, 2020 @ 12:19pm
@Ardrel you're an absolute saint. I have no idea where the fudge The Dadinator has gone but the world needs him. Good on you for stepping up!
Aldwin 13 Nov, 2020 @ 11:50am
For those interested, I updated this mod to work with the current version of the game and decided to upload it to the workshop in case anybody else might find some use out of it.

It doesn't work for me either. Without this, the mod to play on habitats is a living hell - micromanagement of pop-s relocations makes you want to blow up the whole damn galaxy!
DarkDvr 10 Nov, 2020 @ 11:58pm
Unfortunately, doesn't do anything at all midgame+, regardless of settings.
Tigris the FUN-gineer 9 Nov, 2020 @ 6:48pm
Well dang. Looks like 2.8 Butler finally broke this must-have mod for me.
RyleyD 7 Nov, 2020 @ 4:14am
Never have managed to get this working with a Machine race.
It's the only shitty thing about the Machine empires, once they get advanced population production it really does spiral out of control.
Antares 1 Nov, 2020 @ 6:47am
You can't minimise the game during the loading screen until the splash art changes. Usually it will happen after freezing at 30% for a couple of minutes. Somehow this breaks loading.
Sephiro1701 1 Nov, 2020 @ 3:32am
It didnt work for me. I did it step by step.
harlech 31 Oct, 2020 @ 4:48pm
For those of you saying this is broken, try this:
1) Launch the Paradox launcher for Stellaris.
2) Click on "Mods"
3) Click on "Manage Playset"
4) Click the enable/disable toggle switch for Automatic Pop Migration mod so it is disabled
5) Click "Done"
6) Click "Play"
7) The game will launch. As soon as you get to the in-game screen, exit.
8) Re-launch the Paradox launcher for Stellaris and click on "Mods"
9) Click on "Manage All Mods"
10) Click on "Reload Installed Mods"
11) Tick "Also clear out cached information and update from server"
12) Click "reload"
13) When it finishes, click "done"
14) Click on "Manage Playset":
15) Toggle "Automatic Pop Migration" to "enabled"
16) Click "done"
17) Click "Play."
18) The game should launch and you should be able to start a new game.
Post here if that didn't work for you.
