@[SE] Bean So does this mod still work?
Delebre  [author] 29 Apr, 2021 @ 6:08am
Right! Or to get something through the connectors to get a system back online. I often shuttle around hydrogen tanks. If you just slap a connector on it, it can't do much without power. 1 of the solar panels and one of the batteries basically keep it ready 24/7.

I also like that glowstick mod which came out. Cool idea. Needs inventory stacking though!

This is great for when you oops and you just need enough power to get systems online so you can start your hydro generator to charge your batteries

It's not RIP.. I'm still here. I just haven't done development for a long time with SE.

This model could be perfect, it just miss lights to indicate the charge level. Why not use the 3 points on each side of the battery for that...
Sabrewulf 7 Aug, 2019 @ 1:30am
I think it's RIP, i'm using 1x1 solar panels rebuilt and vanilla small battery.
Thankyou for help with your mod.

.... RIP mod? :steamsad:

Hello Brenku, This is a great mod idea. I'd like to implement it into my survival server but I've noticed it does not have a progression system. Would it be possible for you to add it in the near future? If not, may I add it for you?
c.burgess.7 3 Feb, 2019 @ 7:21am
This is awesome
Delebre  [author] 20 Jan, 2019 @ 6:45am
@Dark - Currently, I have changed it so that they do not conflict with each other, if there are changes made. :(
I will consider peeling the 1x1 solar panel off, to it's own mod. Then you could add it to the other one, if you prefer the other one to this one.

Hi there, can i ask is the wall battery the same as the exsiting one for sub-type ID.
IE: can i load this up instead of the other mod will it keep my already functioning defences ect.
*On one planet with Huge waves of NPC's incomming i have sensors to tell me what direction there comming from.. they would all brake if its not the same :) *
Emrule 19 Jan, 2019 @ 11:25am
maybe a tiny RTG that produces a tiny amount of power all the time so you dont have to replace the sodding batteries?
Rulin 19 Jan, 2019 @ 5:36am
Do you have plans for consumable batteries that recharge your suit once power drops to 20%, like oxigen bottles?
Delebre  [author] 18 Jan, 2019 @ 3:16pm
I think I am going to re-balance this a bit. I do have a method to my madness though.

Changed
• Dropped Power Cells to 2 from 5.
• Dropped Max Stored power to 108kW/h from 480kW/h
• Dropped Max Output to 432kW from 480kW.
○ Equivalent = (2x 'small grid' cells) from Vanilla Small Grid.

This gives this mod pack a competitive advantage vs. the new Small Battery Block.
• Works on both Large and Small Grids!
• Double the max output.
• Double the stored power.
• Similar resource requirements.

Justification
The new Small Battery block from KeenSWH (Survival Update),
is based on Fraction stats of the Large Grid Battery block.
The Battery Block, small grid size, has unique statistics.
Thus, I based my fraction stats on THIS block instead.
Maintaining a vanilla plausibility!

If you want to get into the math of it, you can check out my breakdown [i.imgur.com] here.

no problem, i was just confused and not aware about the differences
CodedCrow 17 Jan, 2019 @ 2:11pm
@Brenku, sweet. Thanks man, looking forward to using this mod
Delebre  [author] 17 Jan, 2019 @ 12:49pm
@Emaker. Yeah I think it's a mistake. Initially I meant to make 2 different specs. They are identical size however. Take a lg/sm grid wall mounted battery side-by-side, and they are the same. Small block gets the benefit of this bargain. I will look at adjusting the cost to reflect though.

@Andigogo it is the same, but removed the need for cell battery components. They also pair together well, as they are both compact. Plus, the original author is ezpz about letting people use it for projects.

@andigogo if you look at the Credits you can see that he asked for permission

Can you drop the amount of power stored in the small ship version?
The size is 1/18 of vanilla
The cost is 1/4 of vanilla
But the power stored is only 1/2.25 of vanilla
would be nice if you adleast dropped the power stored to 1/4 of vanilla?
Since then the capacity of the battery per powercell would be the same as vanilla

Ok now this is useful now. :P Thank you for createing it. :) I have been wondering when someone would create something like this. :)
B.A.B. Gaming 16 Jan, 2019 @ 2:47pm
100% recommended? havent used it but looks soo helpful with a small compact starter ship!
Thunderbolt 16 Jan, 2019 @ 12:14pm
Wonderful! Always hated wasting batteries on such cheap grids, like gravity torpedos, which don't use much power.
☠†Shade†☠ 16 Jan, 2019 @ 8:23am
has this been tried on a DS? if not I will give it a go on mine
Racerexia 16 Jan, 2019 @ 3:43am
DUDE! Awesome! Outstanding problem solving. Compact and smart.
Darks33d 16 Jan, 2019 @ 1:29am
I'm making an ultimate survival modpack for personal use with friends and these will be perfect. One more mod to add to the list!
Delebre  [author] 15 Jan, 2019 @ 10:00pm
Thanks! I like them too. Much more versatile for placement. Plus they look pretty. :D
The battery is super handy too omg.
Skallabjorn 15 Jan, 2019 @ 2:45pm
Love the solar panel!
