Technically spaceships are no problem.

BUT - units are really time consuming for you need to do 50 seperate images for each units animations. For ships and units with moving parts it's even more.

Beside this, with just replacing unit graphics, spaceships can't have shadows.
This is for AoE uses no seperate shadow layers for non-flying (bird) units. You can see this for units have black shadows instead of transparent ones.
So without editing the dat file (all players in mp need the mod to get no desyncs) by adding these shadowlayers, I can't add shadows without the shadows (that are seperated from the ships visually for they are flying) would interfere with other objects in an unrealistic way.

So it's not impossible - but not that likely I'll do spaceships in the near future.
But lincolnlou is working on some alien replacements (just mines and stuff for now, but he's working on more).

As well as space water textures and planet land textures, have you uploaded spaceship textures for water, and if not would that be completely possible to go with the space textures?

If you just have subscribed to this mod, only the land terrains are changed into the ones shown on the screens (as writen in the dscription ;) ).

While my 'normal' mods can be subscribed in various compilations as well, the space mods aren't finished/complete for now, so there is no compilation as that would be missing some parts. So stay tuned, in the next days there will be some more uploads.^^

If that isn't the problem, but the land terrains don't change, this is an error of the steam workshop (and it has many errors/bugs). In that case there are a few things that can help. Just tell me and I'll assist you in fixing that.

I got this installed but cannot notic any diffrences, what is the diffrences? Please tell me and maybe even update the description so you have a list telling us what is plain and simple. For I do not get if it just changes water texture or ground texture or what XD Please excuse me for being so dumb but it seems like a great mod :D rock on

Technically that is possible, but units are much more work than terrain and some game objects because I have to edit every single frame of each animation (5 anims per unit, 50 frames per animation). Would be cool to change them as well, but at first I'll try to get the other things looking right. Perhaps I'll do a mod with external links and do some testing ones beside the terrains/game objects. So who wants can test single ones. (Seperate links for until now it seems impossible to update mods)

you should do one that reskins units and adds diffferent attacks like archers shoot lasers, skirms throw laser spears, swordsman use lightsabers or something. hand canoneers have laser rifles. but keep it a reskin so that we can still play online, if this is even possible :) lol

And there is coming more, I'm trying to do an industrial planet pack, as well as crystals for trees, and on the long run changing a lot of game objects to space ones.^^
