If you are subscribed to your own mod and also have the game files locally, the game gets confused. Backup your local files and delete them, then the uploaded version should work. This also means it should work just fine for everybody else already, though.

Does anyone know why a mod works locally but not after being uploaded?

I honestly don't know how to fix the mod for you guys. So I have it fixed but it doesn't work after being uploaded...

When I do the giant igniter it just creates a star and it appears that the case for it is inside of the star itself.

Actually i can't even build any now, but the original version of this mod works still. Guess ill just not build the Matter Extractor until this gets fixed.

All my megastructures from this mod have broke, do i need to just rebuild them?

The structures are not appearing, but they are getting built and working, the only thing showing is the site platform and it's see through. I've tried unsubscribing and it doesn't fix it. Also the protoplanetary extractor isn't working. I've tried it on all the stars real space says has protoplanetary rings but the mod says incorrect star

i'll reset it to an older version. Honestly I don't know why it's not working when uploaded. The mod works perfectly fine on my computer. Even when I use the downloaded one it doesn't work anymore. The files are identical...

The superstructures disappeared from the build list and the ones I already built disappeared/only have an icon but nothing else.

So I updated the mod today. Can anyone tell me if this mod works now. It works fine on my computer and i fixed some smaller bugs. Also the "Wormhole Initiative" will only spawn a single wormhole now.

@ma_ko so I created a new cheat save and I could find the superstructures, I loaded back in and my current superstuctures are still bugged. However I can research them again. Which is odd, but means that the mod should be working fine. I'll play a bit more and test in case it's still broken in some way. Just might mean that the update broke superstructures in current saves

Thank you, if I can't figure it out i come around to that offer. Im rather busy these next few days. But I'll try to look into it. The update interface in Stellaris has changed. I wonder if it has to do with that. I'll just have to check that out.

Can you tell me if the old version works again?

I didn't change anything. I pretty much just told the game this version is still Safe to play with the new Stellaris. This is wierd....

Did the update on 15th change something? I went to load my save today (haven't changed anything since the other day) and I can no longer build these superstructures and no longer have the techs that mod adds. My superstructures that I pre built now do nothing have no name nor description. I was really enjoying the mod!

@Erurhar: I've been thinking about that as well. I think I like it better if they are expensive, but as soon as you own one or two, building more of them becomes a lot easier.

But I'm always open to suggestions :)

I think they cost way too much to be implemented in early game. On the other hand, if they were cheaper, one's economy could simply focus on spawning these things all around. Apart from that, I like the concept of smaller megastructures being available earlier.

Fixed an issue so the AI won't dismantle the Superstructures after building them.

Wierd.... It should remove the planet flag "Megastructure" if you remove something.

Nice mod. However, I would like to see the following:
Options for megastructure removal once you hit late game (see the substellar compressor I think in megastructures mod, it has a removal option)
A way to aim the wormhole generator...and a way to remove the device. Right now I have a core systems that wormholed right into someone's home system that I'm at war with. It isn't going well for me. I really wish I could just shut the artificial wormholes off.

Sorry guys I've had been a little busy these past weeks. Any known issues? If not, then the update is not that critical, or you can just ignore the warning that the Mod is outdated for now. I will update it as soon as possible but I will have to check the patch notes first and play a game to see if everything works.

@ma_ko I thought about dividing at least foundry and factory into two different ones. I mean, it's kinda strange that we build something and after it finished we click our fingers and it is either alloy furnace or space factory. These are two really different structures from purpose of internal and external design.

@Crazy Zombie: i know that the UI is bugged, but i don't know how to fix that. As long as you can click it, it shouldn't be much of a problem.

It seems that the UI of choice between two megastructures (like, foundry and factory) is bugged - second button is extremely close to edge of screen (and some part of key button is out of screen at all).
