@Coyote East, @Nanao-kun, if you are using another mod messing with assembly, ie Unofficial hive dlc, cloning doesnt work. If someone makes or knows a patch, let me know. @MightNight great mod, idea and execution. Hoping you come back soon

I'm having trouble with the Shape shifting perk in that the last thing I need to unlock it is communications with a foreign power but I already have contract with many aliens.

Not sure what is wrong but Cloning doesn't seem to work, at least in my current Hive Mind playthrough (I see someone else has the same issue.) Not sure about Regular Empires yet, haven't tried it out since I mostly wanted to use this mod for Hive Minds. Regardless, it is definitely not working as intended.

It can be realized through the new perk of genocide, "crossing". -50 to the increase in the species that is genocide, +50 to the increase in the main race

Switching to Cloning from Robotics should really replace your Gene Clinics instead of destroying them. Even if you do that though, you still get some really nasty side effects like instant unemployment because a basic Cloning Lab is only 1 job while a Gene Clinic is 2 jobs, and the sudden loss of 10 amenities everywhere is another kick in the butt. Feels like something needs to be changed so that the transition isn't so painful.

Hey, awesome mod idea. One issue, I can't build cloning labs for some reason. I've got the cloning tech but still don't see them to build, assembly policy also didn't show up until I researched robots (and now I've set it to clones). If I run the research_all_technologies command I can build them so I'm clearly missing some tech, but I've tried researching some of the obvious ones and it's still not working. Any events or specific tech I can run/add to get this working?

This is in 2.2.5 - thanks.

Please make it so you can make a cloning world, like putting 20 cloning buildings and make it a massive clone factory.

Ah thanks @MightNight & Elitewrecker PT I don't think I ever used it, and with my issue with using some DLC's and Mods at the same time, didn't want to risk using it and crashing.

@AeliusGrimm There might be a way to bypass your problem. Just modify the lower-pop species to be what you want it. Idk if this would fix your problem, but it might.

@AeliusGrimm Nope neither of those are intentional...I will try to recreate such problem when I have free time, however I am afraid that some other mod might be messign things up :/

Everyone has it, but you can deactivate it. It's a single event line that can trigger when entering a wormhole system.

Two quick things I noticed.. when I have the cloning lab up and running, I'm not able to use my main species as a cloning option. The options presented to me are the lower pop residence of my planet. Additionally, if I lock my main species via controlled breeding, it will revert to something different every time a new pop grows. Is this intentional?

Suggestion: Make the cloning tech give a better version of the cloning lab, at present there is nothing stopping you from using it to get faster Robot production.

@Lonewolf187 why would it? The stop pop assembly is the one which should let you stop assembling pops :O.

Alright I figured out what was going on and resolved the issue. However, I noticed an issue on a world where I had a cloning lab and I used the decision to stop population growth, pops stopped growing, however the cloner kept growing pops in the assembly slot. Should't the Stop Population growth decision also stop cloning?

@Cagerach correct. You should be able to build Gene Labs and Engineering Firms instead

Is changing pop assembly to cloning supposed to prevent you from building gene clinics? Whenever I build gene clinic after a few days it will disappear.

I am having a similar issue with cloning. I am playing a spiritualist empire and have robots and AI outlawed and have the policy set to cloning. The cloning jobs are taking food, but pops are not growing. I have tried waiting a few months, however nothing is happening and I tried using the event bioexpanded.3 command however nothing happends.

I am having an issue where robots are built rather than biopops when cloning, even when robots are outlawed. Could just be an issue with using the testing version?

Did you try from a save that was from before the bugged update? That's how I got my game back to normal after the revert/fixed-update.

Hi, I'm still having the same problem as Hexagoros; I've even gone into the workshop cache and deleted so I could make a clean install, but I've had no luck. Any ideas?
