Nope, what this does is alters the Apex data only so that some have tails, that and a few corrections to the pixel art to fix mistakes. I also changed one of the male beards to look better and did custom heads and emotes. There is also the codex and the added dialog. That's all the things this mod does, there wasn't a need of new dungeons as the Primatex are integrated with regular Apex. Hope you enjoy this regardless!

Is There Other Stuff Here (For Example: Dungeons]?

Zelia Vendit Whoopsie! It was a typo, my bad. XD It's supposed to be apexhistory11-codex, I will fix my description now. XD

Zelia Vendit It's possible I put the spawn command wrong in my description. When I get back into the game, I will spawn one in and let you know what I put.

I did try the spawn command for the codex after I got it to work(I did it manually, putting the files into the mod folder)and it still gave me a green cube. I dunno if I need to put the codex in separately but, just letting you know. Otherwise it's been great.

Zelia Vendit Ahh, you got it to work now? Good to hear! Let me know what you think and if you spot any problems, I shall try to fix them. ;) I am not sure if the new codex I added will spawn in Apex villages and dungeons but if it doesn't, I will try and figure out how I ca get it to spawn in those areas, but you can always spawn it in via spawn commands if you want it right away. ;)

Nevermind I got it! Thank you so much for making this mod! :D

I did go onto chucklefish forums and downloaded the mod .zip folder from there by the way, if you think that'll be easier.
Adriel Hayes 23 Feb, 2019 @ 10:18pm
I'm looking in the downloads folder and it's empty, the only folder that's filled up is the content folder, which does have the .paks.
Adriel Hayes 23 Feb, 2019 @ 10:10pm
I didn't you were going to reply! I'm so glad you did, I'll get right on that.

Zelia Vendit Did you make sure that this mod was in the mod folder for sure? Usually to make it easier on myself, I rename every mod's contents.pak I have to the name of the mod, for example: Wardrobe contents pak I rename to wardrobe.pak. Try resubscribing to this mod, and pay attention to the time when you subscribed. When it downloads, go to you workshops folder and your Starbound mod downloads, look for the mod folder you just subscribed to (look at the time the folder appeared to make sue it's the right one), rename it to ApexTails.pak or Primatex.pak, move it to mods in Starbound folder.

Also to make extra EXTRA sure it's the right mod, you can always unpack the mod pak into a folder if you have a tool that is able to unpack mods. If you want a tool, I can direct you to one.

I tried spawning in the codex too and the game's treating it like I don't have the mod installed.

I'm not sure how this mod works, the tails aren't appearing for me in the character maker. Am I missing something?
TheTwilightDancer  [author] 12 Feb, 2019 @ 4:47pm
Teonirn Glad you like it! It definitely makes the Apex as a race more diverse. ;) Makes sense due to the Miniknog's shenanigans with testing.

You litirally sitting on two chairs right now! (Like, you keep them ape and monkey at the same time. Bravo. Subscribed)
TheTwilightDancer  [author] 11 Feb, 2019 @ 5:18pm
Emerald It didn't need villages since the Primatex are still technically Apex (just with additional primate DNA with their ape DNA), so they are found in all the same places you'd expect to find regular Apex. Plus it was easier to do it this way rather than make it a separate race mod. Makes more sense anyway because the race mod would not have been different enough, considering they are altered Apex.
Emerald 11 Feb, 2019 @ 4:29pm
Does this add in villages?

brats817: "Question"

Regular Apex: "What's your question, brats817?"

brats817: "I created the Primatex."

Regular Apex: "What."

brats817: :"You told me to."

Regular Apex: "How much?"

brats817: "I have done nothing but create Primatex for three days."

Other Apex: "Where have you been sending them!?"

(Meanwhile in the starbound steam workshop)

I fear no man. But that...thing. [Leans in close and whispers.] It scares me.
Skye Chambers 10 Feb, 2019 @ 6:38pm
You should not of named the mod "Meet the Primatex", because some TF2 quotes might appear.
