Idk, unless they changed the coding responsible for the shipset. Which I cannot think of a reason to do that so should work :LotusFlower:

So I went into each and every ship asset code and cut each size in half for all species in this mods folder, then reloaded assets but didn't see a change. Granted, I'm not the best at this lol. I also made sure it was in the exact area u were talking about. Maybe you will have better luck lol

Sorry work n relationship stuff.
But to let you know how to make it incase you wanna give it a shot.

u go into Downscaled Ships files for example _arthropoid_01_ships_entities.asset
and go to the shipsize with scale area

"scale = 0.35 #1.0

game_data = {
size = @corvette_scale
emissive_recolor_crunch = 2.0
}"

then you open the same file from this mod and add in that scale = 0.35 part for each and every ship for each and every race.

Idk if you can just change the size = @ part but I'll have to check on that later. I dont work tommorow so I'll see about doing all that "fun" then... Also I just relized that this needs update for Lithiods v.v

By any chance Cephalon Sithalo, would you know how to make a patch for this to work with the mod "Downscaled Ships" ? Was trying to make one for myself, but could not get the psionic versions of the ships to downscale. Let me know if you ever thought or made progress on the subject. Love this mod by the way

I had a similar issue before during my last game. But I dont know why. It was effecting all ships not just modded ones. The game just wouldnt let me add in the psionic component.

But setting the ships back onto autodesign the game was able to equip the component to all ships and then turing that off I was allowed to work on it again. I know thats no idea and I'll give it another look over later but its all I got for now.

Like I said I checked the files and I didnt see anything laid out in a way that should cause an issue but this is Stellaris after all v.v :LotusFlower:

Didn't notice until I did a new game as Determined Exterminator, but now it gives the same problem if you don't have the Psionic Tracking technology, because now it thinks you need a Psionic Tracking in the slot or it won't save.

Yes. All the other ones work, but that particular one doesn't. I don't know if that was the same bug Opr8er was experiencing or not, it sounds like that one should have been fixed, so I don't know what could be causing it.

With the NSC Exploration Ship, the upgraded Science ship, the designer won't allow me to put the Psionic Energy component into the requisite slot, meaning I can't save the design.

Everything also seems fixed on my end. Interesting that you didn't crash when the shipsets weren't visible on your end, since I crashed every single time.

Regardless, thanks again for your rapid and diligent response. I wish there were more modders on here that took care of there mods quickly like you, haha.

Fixed the issues. I didnt have NSC's new Exploration Ship in the ship_sizes file. So that caused a number of unrelated issues to happen for reasons...

Its NSC's country_types file. If its not super important to anything nsc (it does look rather decripitated with all those z's) then ill update this to blank the file and hope that fixes it. Unless the file is old and unneeded and NSC removes it themselfs. Either way should work. Hopefully :LotusFlower:

Ok Psionic seems ok. But for some very strange reason using this with NSC appears to start you off at tech 0 basically. You need to actually tell the labs to research starting techs. Neither this nor nsc actually touch techs in such a way that that should happen.

Neither this nor NSC should be causing black cubes in ship culture selector.

I'll look into nsc & psionic to see if I can find any issues.
I have no event or anything in here that should cause ships to not spawn and worse yet the starbase to not spawn and then prevent it from spawning even through the rebuilt event until you research a certain technology...

In looking into it ive come across a number of strange nonsensical issues that im guessing are conflicts with nsc...

For your issue it shows up the same on 2.2.6 which makes no sense as it wasnt before. But on the up side it only effects the ship culture selection. Ships in game appear to be uneffected. It makes no sense but silver linings.

Another issue is that with this my starts give me no ships and starts me out w/o my outpost at my home system and it constantly said it was rebuilt when it wasnt until I used Research all technologies command.

And a final issue is that the variations of ion cannons are unlocked at start with this for some reason.

Got another bug report for you, the new patch seems to have done something very weird.

Upon loading up the game and going to make a new empire, I noticed all the ship sets are blacked-out and in the shape of those "error box" models. Literally all the ships were like this, both vanilla and modded.

Upon trying to start a new or old game, I promptly crash. After figuring out which mod was causing the issue (I didn't guess this mod would be the problem again, haha) and disabling it, all my saves and ship-types are fine.

I have no idea what could be causing this, but if you could fix it whenever, that'd be much appreciated.

Yeah I wouldnt expect anyone who makes a patch for something to keep up with the mod it needs unless its a mod they themselfs make lol.

Thanks for your rapid response! Means a lot, especially since the last time anyone said anything here was last month, haha.

And I don't blame you for not keeping up with the patches. I don't have the patience to mess about with code, let alone creating a mod then making sure its kept up to date for X amount of time.

If I see anymore bugs with this mod, I will make sure to post it in the comment section.

By the looks of it there was a code bit that NSC changed reverting the first mid section to be listed in the code as "mid" instead of "mid1" which is what mine was using.

Sorry about that, I dont keep up with the changes for these patches.
On the upside now the various ship sizes also all have the ai behavior required component that I wasnt aware was now a thing in nsc :LotusFlower:

I'd like to point something out about this patch that took me about a half an hour of installing and uninstalling various mods to figure out.

Apparently this mod, for whatever reason, makes it so that you cannot select the second Titan ship section ever. I cannot select it manually, and auto-complete doesn't even try. I don't know if you knew this before hand, or it was reported before in a place I haven't looked at, but if you could fix this, I would be really grateful.

You are very much welcome. For some reason NSC appears to interfere with the hyrbid battleship so it seems to always revert to standard meshing. Idk whats up with that though sorry :LotusFlower:
