About that shield texture issue from the comments... it started happening to me today. All shields on the thorax/royal thorax/SSS are plain grey. Already tried activating just this mod, even unsubbing and resubbing to it and the old version just in case, same issue. Any idea how to fix it? cuz that grey just ruins the look on an otherwise great mod

I tracked down the problem, I believe. The faction_tables entry for Seleucids doesn't match up with the entry in DEI. Deleting the faction_tables entry from the .pack file fixed the UI issue in the campaign. Though there is still the issue of the Royal Thorax Swordsman missing their weapons, and also missing textures on their shields. One or two of the other sword units are also missing the textures on their (thueros) shields.

I was able to replace/fix them so that they appear correctly. However, I'm not sure if this fix can work for both vanilla AND DEI, at least I haven't been able to. This means it might be necessary for a second version of this mod to be updated specifically for DEI compatibility.

Would you like me to send you the files to see for yourself and/or upload a DEI-compatible version? You're the current curator of this mod - my personal favorite mod outside of DEI - but if you'd rather not maintain a separate version solely for DEI, I'd be happy to do so for you.

Yeah, only with DEI. I didn't think this mod affected the UI so it seems strange.

This isn't my mod, I am not sure what would cause this. Does it only happen with DEI?

This causes some kind of conflict with DEI where the UI (when playing as Seleucid only) is all white. It's not affected by load order either, I tried switching the two .pack files in the order. Any ideas what it might be?

one of my all time favorite mods, something must've happened to the shield pattern for the silver shield and royal thorax swordsmen though.
