Yup, still working. It's an extremely lightweight mod so it hasn't needed any updates.
Hope you enjoy!

Is this mod still working normally in 2025? New Civ 6 player, just finished (won) my first game on Emperor, and I HATE how quickly the Nuclear reactors need recommissioning... They barely last 10 turns!?! What?!

I also hate how sea level rise works. What a seriously annoying and UNFUN mechanic, so going to try "Normalized Climate Change" as well..

Hello Zee. It has been a while. Is this mod compatible with the Sept patch? I really like your mods, hoping they work. Thank you.

Is it working on June patch ?

I'm about to put the changes up. Feel free to ask me to take them down and I will. If you accept my friend request, ill add you as the author!

If you would prefer, I could just set your mod as a requirement and edit the same lines from a new mod. It would just be easier for me to do it the other way. I sent you a friend request to discuss further if you would like.

@Giuseppelll
Typically speaking, I prefer people don't repost my work. But it's the internet so I can't stop you. And thanks for asking either way.

And also your Normalized Climate Change mod

Hey _Zee! I am trying to create a mod collection for civ 6 that shows the way I play the game. However, I have made edits to this mod for my game, so I was wondering if I could post these edits as a separate mod, while giving you full credit of course so people using my collection wouldn't have to make the edits themselves. I would of course link back to the original mod and add you as an co-author.

@Daeris
It's a vanilla bug that doesn't update the tooltip on the turn you complete project. When you end the next turn the tooltip will be properly updated.

Hi Zee, me again. I noticed recently (WITHOUT this mod) that when I recommissioned my nuclear powerplants, it did absolutely nothing afterwards. Is this a current bug or something? I recall seeing that it might be. I'll probably snag this mod as well to at least help stretch out the usefulness.
Solidstate89 11 Mar, 2019 @ 7:17am
Fantastic, thank you. Even with cities with triple digit levels of production it can take like 7-11 turns to recommission, which means they're basically stuck doing nothing but that.
peaswar 8 Mar, 2019 @ 5:17pm
will you make one that removes nuclear plant destruction overall?
Furry Profile Pic 1 Mar, 2019 @ 1:30am
Okay, that makes more sense. I like the era pace of epic, I just find the time to make a unit irritating.
_Zee  [author] 1 Mar, 2019 @ 12:28am
I mostly play on Epic so the numbers are based on those scales. Sadly this value isn't game_speed dependent. If it feels too long the values are easy to change and will affect running saves.

I feel like gadding twenty turns is a bit excessive, ten turns seems a bit more balanced. That being said, I haven't play tested this so I could be completely wrong.
_Zee  [author] 25 Feb, 2019 @ 1:09pm
There really wouldn't be much room for that since nuclear power plants are unlocked so late in the game. I like the idea though. :)
Vindict 24 Feb, 2019 @ 10:13pm
How about increase turn timers not staticaly but with getting some tech or entering next eras? Something like "+5 turns to reactors stability after researching %tech_name%" or "+10 turns to reactor stability after entering each next eras". It will feel more like in real world where first nuclear reactors was really dangerous but with tech progressing they becoming more and more safe to use
Moyocoya 24 Feb, 2019 @ 2:28am
Thank you for both answer :-D
_Zee  [author] 24 Feb, 2019 @ 2:21am
Yep!

Does it work for IA players as well (same question as for slower grievances) ?
BLÀde 23 Feb, 2019 @ 11:05pm
damn i've been searching fore days on how to do this :P
