honestly i thought it already had Triton in it, but i will check, then that bring the question "should i add uranium to those newer planets as they technically never had any to star with :)"
White Rhino PSO 11 May, 2022 @ 3:23pm
Any chance this mod will be updated to include Triton and Petram?
CrayzKato 22 Feb, 2022 @ 7:23am
now this is something i wanted
i always found that removing uranium from planets entirely was rather odd
where do we get all our uranium; the planet we live on
we dont go to space to get it
and i think your balancing is fairly reasonable

keep up the good work!

Apologies, it seems as if this wasn't added to my world. I could've sworn I added it though. Must be another mod. Thanks!
Nikolas March  [author] 22 Jul, 2020 @ 6:25pm
are you using another mod that alters earth?
qernsweep 22 Jul, 2020 @ 4:52pm
Hi, the weather system for Earth like planets isn't working with this mod on my dedicated server. I know you fixed those a while back but it seems like they broke again.
Absolarix 27 Jun, 2020 @ 9:19am
Awesome, I figured the fix wouldn't be very hard. Thank you very much for the quick response.
Nikolas March  [author] 27 Jun, 2020 @ 6:08am
done :;)
Nikolas March  [author] 27 Jun, 2020 @ 5:51am
yeah i figured i would have to fix these...
Absolarix 26 Jun, 2020 @ 11:04pm
This mod completely breaks the new weather system by deleting the weather-related entries in the world files. Any world that this mod is in will not have weather again unless you replace these weather entries. Nikolas, please fix.

for some reason triton is not defaulting to the vanilla textures like the other planets are, so ive included them in the mod
Nikolas March  [author] 27 May, 2020 @ 9:43pm
well i owe you an appology, sorry.
its happening for me also, and i just copied the atmosphere section from vanilla Triton...
the skybox is still there, its something to do with the atmosphere being very black, preventing light getting to the player.
Nikolas March  [author] 27 May, 2020 @ 9:25pm
im guessing you have intel integrated graphics, and using a mod to remove the atmospheres of planets? if so then you cant use this mod, as it would add the atmospheres back, as ore info and
atmosphere info are in the same place. i will load it up and have a quick look though.
qernsweep 27 May, 2020 @ 6:26pm
With this mod added, the skybox goes black. As soon as I remove it, the skybox works properly again. I don't know if it's a mod conflict or something, but it gets fixed as soon as I remove it.
Nikolas March  [author] 27 May, 2020 @ 4:03pm
this mod doesnt touch the skybox
qernsweep 27 May, 2020 @ 2:18am
The skybox goes black on triton with this mod installed for me. Anyone else having this issue?
Nikolas March  [author] 27 Mar, 2020 @ 12:41pm
:)

Thank-you for this Mod and especially adding the new planet Triton. I'd already invested a lot of time building a Uranium mining base on Triton. Then, within just a few days..."Keen gaveth and Keen tooketh away". 🙄 Having played this game since its inception, running around to a myriad of asteroids for Uranium got old years ago. Thanks to your Mod, that ore is back where I like to find it. 👍
Nikolas March  [author] 25 Oct, 2019 @ 7:49am
no im not adding tag broken, its not the mod thats broken, its the game, you cant expect every modder to mark as broken just until its fixed... lol
CamperN0ob 25 Oct, 2019 @ 6:32am
@Darian Stephens it was a pain in the ass to search a mod that contains PlanetGeneratorDefinitions file. Yes, it's fault of the game, but imagine searching for that one mod that made all planets flat from ~100 mods. I'm not telling to delete or change the mod itself. Adding [Broken] tag (or at least a simple note in the description) will make the search of the problematic mods in current game version a bit easier.
Darian Stephens 25 Oct, 2019 @ 12:05am
Why? The mod's not broken, the game is. Besides, it'll probably be fixed in tomorrow's hotfix.
So, why bother?
CamperN0ob 24 Oct, 2019 @ 11:50pm
After the anniversary update this mod breaks all planets making them flat.
Discussion about this problem.
mods that contain PlanetGeneratorDefinitions.sbc file, will cause planets to be generated flat.
Problem is present even wtih default values. The file itself causes issue in case its in mod.

@Nikolas March please add a tag [broken] to the title until Keen will fix this bug.
Nikolas March  [author] 24 Apr, 2019 @ 6:49pm
yeah u can find this in the steam UGC area for this mod, C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\1556142288, its a simple mod, take what u need :)
The DucK 24 Apr, 2019 @ 2:44pm
Is it possible to have a config to this? I like this idea, however for me I’d like to customize it to only apply to alien planet and Titan to meet my oddly specific tastes lol
Nikolas March  [author] 8 Mar, 2019 @ 3:05pm
cheers :)
StarDruid 8 Mar, 2019 @ 8:46am
Thanks for the link, did the same so those looking for Uranium but also want it to be hard find will know about your mod.
Darian Stephens 3 Mar, 2019 @ 9:55am
@Mr_Crow
If you're browsing on steam, there's a bar at the top, below your big 'STORE LIBRARY COMMUNITY' etc buttons. You want the number just after '?id='.

May i have the mod id please, as i cant find it...
Nikolas March  [author] 2 Mar, 2019 @ 2:35pm
you wont need to restart a new game for this to work :)
Rulin 2 Mar, 2019 @ 2:38am
Do I need to start a new save for this to work? I am currently playing survival on earth with another player and could really need some uranium.
Nikolas March  [author] 1 Mar, 2019 @ 3:10pm
yes that is precisely why they did it, but they did not consider all players and how they all play differently, and many have been playing that way for years, and to suddenly change it this far in, is too much.
Darian Stephens 1 Mar, 2019 @ 1:27pm
I doubt Keen did it to make the game more 'hardcore', but to give more progression, and to encourage people to use the new wind and hydrogen generators.
I mean, most of what was used before was reactor-powered, with very little variance. At least this might give some variety.
Nikolas March  [author] 1 Mar, 2019 @ 1:16pm
yw :) this is how i think they should have done it, to consider all players, not just the more hardcore elite :)
XandreBlues 1 Mar, 2019 @ 1:30am
knew that the moment KSH dropped the no uranium bomb to make their new blocks useful, someone would create this mod or something similar to it. Thank you.
Nikolas March  [author] 28 Feb, 2019 @ 9:56pm
i will leave that mod for someone else to do, this one fits my mod style more :) have a look on the WS again, im sure SuperHappyAlien was going to put one up for that :)
thorman123456789 28 Feb, 2019 @ 8:46pm
and having the uranium the same depth and such as before?
thorman123456789 28 Feb, 2019 @ 8:46pm
could you make a version that doesn't change anything other than uranium coming back to planets?
Nikolas March  [author] 28 Feb, 2019 @ 12:03pm
im not currently sure how to do that but i was just thinking that :) the only problem is, you may end up with ice in the hot zone, and thats terrible lol
Darian Stephens 28 Feb, 2019 @ 11:20am
Y'know, the temperature mechanic might be a good deterrent for that, if you raise the hot area.
Nikolas March  [author] 28 Feb, 2019 @ 10:44am
drilling that deep is far too much nastyness, and server owners dont want people drilling that deep, its just not good in either case, i have tested drilling down to 170m for uranium on different mod, even i dont find it fun, and its my mod :D
Darian Stephens 28 Feb, 2019 @ 10:11am
If you wanted to make this really fun, you could make the uranium deep enough to get in to the hotter temperatures, making it more of a challenge to mine!
