@KompadT did I imagine it or didn't there used to be the option to select the Warped Ideology you added for the Beastmen faction as a starting ideology? Can't seem to anymore on the Beastmen starting scenarios...

Hello! Me and friend made a compatability patch between Combat Extended and this mod. Made weapons and armour work with Combat Extended and balanced them some.

Correction: It's an Ungor and they can equip anything that covers the middle feet slot infinite times.

Gor can equip too many shoes from Tribal Warrior Set. They cover the middle layer on the feet and toes. They stack indefinitely. I've had this issue before with the Avian Races mod where they would equip infinite jewelry. :lunar2019deadpanpig:

i found a bug, rimworld wanted to make a quest with a bullgor searching shelter in my colony. and the quest the quest description was that : ERR: A [joiner_age]-year-old [joiner_title] named [joiner_nameFull] is calling for help! [Joiner_pronoun] is hiding from [hidingFrom]. [Joiner_pronoun] wants to flee and join you at [map_definite].[Joiner_relationInfo].

I think it come from your mod because the first red error in the debug log just before the bugged quest was:

GorebullHornLeft has null Part. It should be set before PostAdd.

CE compatability would be great. Or a way to disable their custom weapons and armour (because not compatible with CE and thus mostly very weak).

There's something not right with the Gors, they seem kinda... offset a little bit to the side. Hair, horns, clothing and armor is all not centered on the pawn model, but appears to be a few pixels to the side.

Gors have a learning factor of 50%
that means slow learner (-75% learning factor) make them having a 0% learning factor. I think thats not intended, since they are not able to learn anything anymore. Could you maybe somehow fix that? :)

The models themself could be added on to a beastmen army too.
For the male harpies I allowed them to spawn in so that you could get more. I used to have the eggs instead, but that seemed off.
The original plan was to have them spawn like the insect hives, so at the edge of the map a harpy nest would spawn. You would be able to fight them and tame them from there. In the end I did not have time to finish that up.

As for the harpies, they are opportunists. Not that they "work" or serve the gors but they will follow herds for easy food.

A true fix you can do to this mod tho is give them a buff resistance to food poison and a +0.50 or something like movement speed buff on the campaign map cause that is what they are known for in warhammer is always being on the move quickly and raiding everything they can get their hands on faster then you can stop them.

@Monolith also I never seen a point to care about them being Asexual or not I mean you could just as easily remove them from the start. Thing is in this game not everything can produce offspring via eggs and although that would be cool I mean kinda asking a lot for a race mod lol..

@Monolith in Warhammer lore Harpies do not work with the Gor and TBH in all the years as of a fan myself I have seen nothing with Harpies working with Gors at all as the Gor are beastly chaotic and so most things do not stay around them for fear of dying which is why the only things that do work with them are the Cygors but, TBH I do not find it myself immersion breaking as limits are limits in games especially when its a mod that you get for free as well.. I think of them as a bit of a Cygor replacement... All that being said he could just edit the start and remove them for nothing or add something else in the game he wants.. No need to get rid of the Harpies imo..

@VandaKai he is talking about the existence of male harpies at all, i am not familiar enough with warhammer harpies to confirm or deny if this is immersion breaking

@Skwug that is an ooollld issue, easy to fix with the outfitter, just deny them sock/shoes and manually equip them if you want. otherwise they will end up more sock than gor

Hello, I love the mod. However I have the same issue as Thomus with an error when loading up the game.

Also is it possible to entirely remove the Harpies? My issue is that they're essentially a mono-gendered species except in-game they are both male and female kind of ruining my immersion.

Seems like Gor may have a problem with footwear. My one Gor colonist was walking around wearing 14 pairs of socks from the Medieval Times mod. Otherwise a great mod!

If you start with the Lost Bestigor scenario, colonists that randomly join your settlement will always be Big Horned Gors as well, same as your starting character.

I wish that my gor's wouldn't have to wait until second stage malnutrition in order to eat a corpse, and could perhaps have some kind of special protection from food poisoning? They do get a pretty big mood buff from it.

I'll add this info here in case it helps anyone, but the Filthy Orc Invasion mod prevents non-orc units from equipping the loincloth item in this mod. I let the person working on that mod know, and am hoping they can adjust it to fix the problem, but I'm sharing here as well for what it's worth.

The gor bodies are set to use vanilla body textures. So if a mod armour/clothing lacks the standard male/female/thin/hulk texture setup, the pink square or missing texture sets in.

Wearing anything from the Filthy Orc Invasion mod (since they're large sized turns them into a headless pink square in the stats window and a pink background square around them as they move on the map.

Yeh, food poisoning is bound to the food itself. So it's a gamble to have them eat whatever, but if anything they do have increased immune system. So they do recover faster from it.

Raw Corpses are a dangerous food type to gors, even though they gain a massive mood boost from eating such? Mine got food poisoning after doing so...

Only use one of them.
This one was used as a base for the other. So there is overwrites, don't use both.
If you want a more complex and a more unique game use the Rimhammer one.

Yeh, atm the way to recruit is to beat them into submssion.
I do want to add in the runestone recruiting, but atm I'm kinda stuck doing work stuff.
So can't really promise anything atm.

Sorry. Just found your June 13 2019 post which I believe answers my question unless you changed something since then?

Any plans to follow through with your herdstone recruitment idea? I'd love to play a beastmen only colony. It's just not really practical at the moment and probably downright impossible for the single bestigor start.

Anyway, big fan of all your mods. They're all fun as hell and well made so, looking forward to seeing what else you've got coming. Any plans for other chaos themed colonies? Would be neat to see a Khorne, Nurgle and Tzeentch cult similar to your Slaanesh one.

Am I missing something obvious here? How am I meant to get more Gors? Beyond simply capturing them I suppose. Knowing the beastmen lore, I had assumed the runestones would play some part but they appear to just be typical sculptures with no hints in the description if that's the case. Perhaps I need to be a bit more patient?

Was expecting a long involved process like your dryad and Slannesh races.

Just had a weird issue come up where suddenly all my gors horsn have shrunk down , I didnt add any new mods since my last save so im not sure whats goin on was there an update of some sort or is it porbably something in my mods?
