@Greenpakto I actually have added the code for a favorite food! However, I'm still working on some dialogue strings and making sure all UI elements are working correctly before updating.

Mind updating this for the new patch that Klei released? You can take a look at what "Goat Slice" did with his "Reign of Runts" mod for guidance, since he is the only one who has updated their character mod so far.

I like both Wagstaffs, but this one is more like what I imagined Wagstaff to look like, while the Hamlet one is a bit more interesting stat wise. I'm thinking if the stats and items of Hamlet Wagstaff were added to this Wagstaff, I'd give it a 9/10

@rafael0503 He won't be receiving any buffs per se - nothing like speed, stats, or strength increases if that's what you mean - but I'm still working on future updates. I'm kinda sick right now though so progress is slow, but the next update is already being finalized by both myself and my co-coder.

@󰀉Ducky󰀉 Actually I kinda sorta totally stole the name and basic concept for the character from Klei themselves since he was mentioned in a throwaway forum post all the way back in 2013(not counting Winona's leaked dialogue that was changed upon release). I used what little information that was given as a skeleton to build the rest of the character as I saw fit.

with the naming scheme it seems that the first name starts with a W and it may just be coincidence wagstaff's last name has a W, possibly because we arent supposed to ever know their first name as they might just go by Wagstaff. Other than that it looks p cool, I wonder if Klei will take some inspiration from this!

@cortes-e I've been writing this version of the character since 2015, but I understand where you're coming from ^^'. Once the canon Wagstaff is added to Don't Starve , I plan on renaming this mod "(Canon-Divergent)Robert Wagstaff" to hopefully curb confusion.
