I removed all instances of that is_male() check except for the sections that controlled women-only traits, and for the "scholar" agents. ANd then I started up the game and went into a new turn, but still no traits.
@Mortarch I think not, it still works fine right now.
I changed the load order to load the DEI Female Generals Official Submod to #1 and seems to have fixed it.
Much appreciated that you took the time to make this :) Sadly I am getting a crash every time a female general dies after a battle. So once you exit battle or just after Auto-resolve the game will crash once the female general model dies.
Do you think it is possible to fix this? I hope it is!
(I am only running the 3 required DEI mods aside from the female general one)
would be immersive breaking seeing a roman woman being a general. :P
good mod!
On a broader note, I've always thought historical accuracy and realism were good things, to a point. I agree completely with what actor Peter Mensah said in an interview about the Spartacus series. To paraphrase, "We wanted to be respectful of history, but didn't feel the need to be particularly constrained by it." I would say the same thing about games.
