Would you be interested in helping me make a mod that allows you to name your armor/weapons/cloths/whatever...WITHOUT enchanting the item? Doing a non magic play through right now, and really missing the cool names you can give armor and weapons...
Huxide 22 Mar, 2014 @ 1:56pm
the ancient falmer armor is fixed? i saw a comment that it was bugged and i need the mod for this armor...
Trent2709 18 Mar, 2014 @ 6:43pm
ya the vampire royal armor still has the enchantment
Tzu 15 Jan, 2014 @ 2:07pm
This is an amazing patch :D I actually downloaded this mod to cleanse my Ancient Falmer armor set of the terrible enchantments I put on them but it didn't work... So I tried doing the same with Ancient Shrouded armor and it seemed to work fine.. :S
BattleBard 26 Oct, 2013 @ 3:44am
I have a bug, The Vampire Royal Armor...It gets disenchanted, yes...But it reduces the armor level back to the base setting, I have it on legendary for improved but the stats are that of untempered version.
Viinkaran 23 Aug, 2013 @ 8:12am
patience is underrated
Viinkaran 23 Aug, 2013 @ 5:37am
Why does vampire royal armor not work?
bowin4690 14 Aug, 2013 @ 7:45am
you should have it as : Bill Maze here with Oxy clean for enchantment
TS [~MLS~] CelticFrag 11 Aug, 2013 @ 6:23pm
You still have the button C00kie? I don't anymore
Akketta 11 Aug, 2013 @ 4:10pm
The Nordic Carved Armor from Dragonborn DLC that looks like bear armor were what I used for the test, the set you have to use Quicksilver to make, is the set I mentioned in the previous comment. That whole set and the Bonemold Helm have an issue where, when placed in the cleanser, are not even put through a cycle (with the Bonemold being sporadic).

The button clicks when you punch it, but the process does not even start for those pieces. Haven't found anything wrong with other armor pieces so far, and I've just started on weapons, so I will keep you posted.

Ok, i put the oil in and it's not doing anything-and I don't see any book btw
TS [~MLS~] CelticFrag 11 Aug, 2013 @ 2:41pm
ah...so THAT is what that's for! Thanks dude! This mod is GREAT with Ingot Recovery and the mod that boosts your smithing skill when smelting!
SirReality  [author] 11 Aug, 2013 @ 2:40pm
Ghost Sniper, check the main page for the update. Did you see the book nearby? It tells you all you need to know! Just put dwarven oil in after your items and it will cleanse them!
TS [~MLS~] CelticFrag 11 Aug, 2013 @ 2:38pm
Um, i couldn't even USE it after installing-the button was GONE! And what's the deal with the portable thing?
SirReality  [author] 11 Aug, 2013 @ 12:30pm
Thanks for the bug reports and confidence, cookiesmasher, it's appreciated! Which Nordic Armors, specifically, were you trying to cleanse? And can I confirm you waited for the full cycle to complete when testing bonemold - those are the last item on the list, and may have taken some time.

Akketta 11 Aug, 2013 @ 11:59am
I have the base mod, plus the Dawnguard/Dragonborn mods you've made recently.

I tested out a few basic enchants I put on various blank armor pieces from each DLC that was available in the testing hall and took them to be cleansed in whiterun, but it doesn't seem to like cleaning any of the Nordic Armor at all, whether i place each piece of the set in one at a time or all at once does not matter.
It also doesn't work on the Bonemold helm about three-fifths of the time, and randomly loses at least one mate to a pair of my socks with each wash.

The base mod is still wonderful, but the newer versions are still a bit buggy. Even with the bugs, though, i will be keeping them favorited as i will be waiting for updates on the newer mods and continue to enjoy your work. Keep it up and keep us posted.
mordachai 10 Aug, 2013 @ 12:06pm
Please ignore my previous comment, it seems all good comes to those who patiently wait and keep trying, it completed the download on the third attemt ;)
SirReality  [author] 10 Aug, 2013 @ 12:05pm
That's a steam error code that indicates a timeout - nothing I can do on my end, unfortunately, but you can always download the patch from the nexus. Link on the main mod page.
mordachai 10 Aug, 2013 @ 11:58am
Unfortunately i'm getting a "steamerror 16" when trying to download the patch, the base mod itself creates no problems, only the patch???
SirReality  [author] 10 Aug, 2013 @ 10:53am
All the instructions you seek are in the base mod, "Enchantment Cleanser" Josh. Look there and you will find what you seek. As stated in the mod description, this is only a compatability patch and not the main mod itself.
Zugrok 10 Aug, 2013 @ 2:00am
More instructions on how this works please. Is it an npc in game that removes enchants? Is it a item that removes enchants? Will items I already have that I want to keep the enchants on be removed?
JohnSmith11 9 Aug, 2013 @ 10:51pm
Fortify Fire Resistance
SirReality  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 10:49pm
ah, glad to hear my mod's been of use to you! What new fancy enchant did you put on it?
JohnSmith11 9 Aug, 2013 @ 10:31pm
yes it is before, i was just saying how much i didn't like wearing it because of the enchantment that was on it, but then i used ur mod, and now I use it all da time
SirReality  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 10:14pm
John Smith, is this your Ebony mail before or after you've used my mod with it? I'm really not sure why you're commenting about your ebony mail...
JohnSmith11 9 Aug, 2013 @ 9:58pm
I love my Ebony Mail, but I hate how every time i go into combat in 1st person, the poison jars my vision, and I can't even see my armor
AllieCat54 [gD] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 5:18pm
Thank you. :)
SirReality  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 4:40pm
Already there, Allie Cat - just check the optional files on my Enchantment Cleanser Nexus page. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/download/1000045032 if you're feeling lazy.
AllieCat54 [gD] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 1:44pm
Wow thanks for this. :)

Will it be on skyrim/nexus?
SmugHat 9 Aug, 2013 @ 9:02am
you ar the best.
SirReality  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 9:00am
You can now properly improve cleansed Dawnguard equipment at the workbench.
SirReality  [author] 9 Aug, 2013 @ 8:21am
skhoerle: it's part of the next planned update, no worries. Been brainstorming on how to do it gracefully and with respect to the lore.

Mr. Templar: Your english is fine! perhaps armor -> inventory, but I totally understand what you're saying. I'll update that right now, thanks for letting me know!
SmugHat 9 Aug, 2013 @ 8:17am
i have just cleansed my dawngaurd full helmet but i cant inprove the helmet at the workbench. at the workbench it says that it dosent exsist in my armory. (sorry my eng)
Thorbast 9 Aug, 2013 @ 7:32am
Thank you. I have been waiting for this for quite a long time. However, I have a wish. No pressure, no hurry; is it possible to make a portible item cleanser, so I could place one any where I need it for example like one of the Hearthfire houses?
SirReality  [author] 8 Aug, 2013 @ 9:11pm
I pushed a new copy out, fyi. Did some rigorous testing this time, so that should be it!
