its not working on my world. turret thinks its out of ammo isn't firring or providing lockon for wham missile

I seem to have the same issue on our dedicated server. Noticed my turret radar stations were not giving any feeds. Found out that they don't have ammo to "attack" enemies with.

Tried in a new, no other mods loaded world, loading the local version and testing, then swapping with the downloaded version. Neither works :(

@Dreamfire @SpiritPlumber : I have tested and the Turret seems to be generating ammo.
However it will only do it when the inventory is almost empty . Have you experienced something like the turret actually empty and stopped aiming/firing?

Sorry, wrong mod for the adv. designator issues. However, the designator turret still does not clear it's target when it goes away. I think it'll keep shooting at the same spot, which means that automatic missiles will continue to fire, at least when using rdav's script and setting auto fire to true.

So I'm having an issue with the basic designator turret not clearing it's target after no longer having a target. rdav's guided missile script has this on line 194: bool HasTarget = !Turret.GetTargetedEntity().IsEmpty();

The advanced designator is also not generating ammo, can confirm.

Any way to extend the laser to say 40km?? :steamhappy: this would be perfect for orbital satellites that drop free fall weaponry

@dRuPpl yes it will! however, if the script has a coded max range the extended range of the designator will not be used.

Ah so this thing can guide in projectiles like a small ship with programmable blocks or something to go for the spot the laser is aimed at. Aka it does like what it would in real life :D Cool.

@Skallabjorn : It was only tinkering, I must admit I'm more a Java guy now (even if during my studies it was the opposite)

@TheTownWitchDoctor @dRuPpl I hope It will serve you well, aim for the bridge :D

@Spineing It can aim, thus the "target" is available to ingame script that would need it. Some times ago, Designator didn't had ammo and where only used for their aiming capacities (hence theirs name) but now it's no longer the case. I hope this answer your question, English is not my mothertongue ^^'.
