For all searching for a WH III Version of this mod:

- Search for: Sigmar's Heirs, an Empire Overhaul

It make it possible to recruit regional units, when you own the region.

Best i found and a nice soloution for the regional recruitment.
But - i would love to see this Mod move to WH III (and best would be it come with a radious submod - adding all the good radious units to regional recruitment)

I hope one day this mod will be available for WH III

Is there any chance of this mod coming to TWW3? It is not necessary to respect the original idea of the mod. As long as you can recruit the same imperial units, with the colors of the other provinces (as the mod is currently in TWW2), it would be perfect!

hey ForTheEmperor and bmstanfield, is there a plan to make this great mod available for TW Warhammer III ? Would love to see this in Mortal Empire Campaign. This was a must have mod installed for Warhammer II when playing the Empire.

is always same mecchanic. Atm the pool for recruit units is unique, with unique bulding and provincial bulding ai cannot recruit troops if dont have access to that province.
Example in nordaland you can recruit vanilla troops and nordaland specif troops, if ai dont controll nordland cannot use nordland bulding for recruit nordland troops, is easy but require unique bulding (easy) and a script that destroy vanilla bulding and replace them with specific (o ai that start with vanilla bulding dont build specific bulding and dont recruit provincial troops)

Okay, and preventing AI from recruting outside their faction until you confederate? It would prevent to have Stirland with Nordland troups, while at war with each others lol.

Can be make, but need unique buldings for each province and a script that destroy vanilla buldings and replace them for each province with a different unique buldings set.
I can make Easy First but the script Is something i never try.

Do you think you'll be able to prevent AI to recruit regiments from others "regions" (except allies army outpost of course.) I liked the concept of oupost in the III but didn't like that they took your army color some where ugly and illogical, why nordland outpost take yellow colors of Kostaltyn faction for exemple...

Have created a new system of ws model, materials and subdirectory,. Now can create for every subfaction a specific directory example Aldorf for each unit (war machine too) and texture. In this way i dont overwrite textures, materials o ws models and can easy add a compatibility patch for every possible texture mod. is in this way more easy crete ws models,materials and unit files, just replace the directory associated with Altdorf with Averlland for example and replace with text replace function in every material,ws model and unit files.

Working for this. Already create in w3 empire provincial troops. For now created a mod for empire horses that add horse colors variation to empire, testing regional steam tanks and artillery and complete regional troops with custom banners, troop colors and shields and custom models . Think to add a variation to reiskguard knight (with different knight orders with custom armors/shields/horse). About regional recruit there Is a new option, with a script, that let you recruit specifico troops when you control specific regione (without create custom buldings).

Like most people i think, i'll wait immortal empire to try the 3. It would really be great to have army's with regional soldiers. But i afree with ROURA the IA recruiting randomly break the thing sadly :/

Ideal Will be editing startpos ( mixu) deleting vanilla barracks/stables and Place only custom so ai can only recruit a type of troops in each province. About mod see to continue It in w3 , have problem with new texture system ( must test how convert/remaketextures and rigids and atm isent possibile or require a lot of extra time).

It Will be better only the player to be able to use the confederated AI army. Don't look great to see Middenland that have stirland troops, or Hochland recruting Ostland Troops.

Great mod but is it intended that the AI recruit soldiers of other county/ dukedom ? I see Wissenland army for exemple with Marienburg troops and of many other County. I think only the player should be able to use the confederated AI army. (Because for me it recruit totaly randomly.)

Color fixxed, Fixxed colors for infantery/yeomen taking the colors from heraldy book. For peasants replaced the colors with that of noble families of courunne and laguille. IF find others errors/mistake tell me. whn this is fixxed can start to fix grafic mods and add a sfo patch for both
