Cuz I've not played that specific game for a long time, and seeing them again, even from a picture, screws with me.
So brown is an option, but I need to create 4 (or 5?) new colored sets of crystals that I want to be distinguishable from the exiting ones color wise.
So maybe something like brown, yellow/orange - there are only very few orange tones available, so it might end too yellow/red/brown..., dark violet/blue/red - similar problem like with orange, dark green - might end up beeing turquoise, white, you see?
It's not that easy to find some additional color schms that really look good and are distinguishable. I already had that problem with the existing ones.
HiddenPath didn't implement any functionality to uninstall/manage mods.
And they didn't notice steams verification functionality they recommended does only take care of modded game files, no additional ones.
This is for this functionality just resets your original game installation, but doesn't touch any personal files (that don't belong to a games installation package (that would make modding impossible)).
But AoE is meant to be modded by adding new files in most cases instead of editing the original files. This leads to massive file remains when 'uninstalling' mods. Maps, Campaigns, some soundtracks, some taunts, all non-terrain graphics, ... they all stay and have to be removed manually.
The only other solution for now is my mod manager.
Open your AoE game folder (right click AoE in your steam library, hit properties and there is a button on the local files tab to open this folder).
Delete your data\slp folder and verify your game cache (same as above, but the verify button).
Am einfachsten ist es den ganzen Ordner zu löschen und deine Spieldaten zu verifizieren.
What I've seen so far is really amazing!!
The 'Thumbelina Ratbane' one for example or 'The Fearless Monster Hunters'.
As you might have seen in my other mods, in case I used other peoples stuff, I asked for their permission/gave them credit.
But for most of the title screens I found were official ones or I just didn't know who was the artist, I totally forgot about that in case of this painting - which is a really cool one btw.
Thank you for telling me and giving me permission for further usage as title screen for this mod.
I'll credit you in the description immediatly!
And yeah, they were thought for my space textures to come, but they also fit the 'normal' ones.
