This highly recommended mod is short but stylish with a nice spooky theme and some challenging sections. You'll see some weird and creepy things plus the sounds are great. Overall average difficulty on Normal with infinite ammo.

A pretty bad campaign.
The idea is interesting, but the execution is bad.

First of all, the character's lines are written exactly like the narration, which makes the whole thing confusing, as it jumps from "You wake up." to "I don't understand what's going on!". This is bad but luckily easy to fix, you just have to add quotes to make it obvious it's the character speaking, not the narration.
Second, you're trying to make something spooky, right? Why have the character joke if you're trying to be spooky? Nothing ruins the mood faster than the character randomly throwing a joke.
Third, the map is too small. In Serious Sam, you run around the map while constantly shooting. In these maps, you just stand in one place and shoot at the respawning enemies.
Fourth, enemies are respawning a bit too much. This is a bad decision, and it's also frustrating, because there's no sense of progression.
Fifth, you shouldn't use Painkiller music in a Serious Sam game.

When I did the video, I hooked up a 2nd monitor to my pc, set the game to borderless window, and extended the window to fill both screens, worked perfectly for Horizontal split-screen.

Glad you like it, the narration is in English only for all players and this is the case for nearly every mod out there anyway (most mappers don't really want to bother translating stuff to a million languages). :P I don't know about the best split screen view as I've never played it split screen myself, I hope it works all right though, cause there have been some reports of splitscreen not working correctly in SS3 with custom maps.

Just one thing: are the narration sentences words from the main game? And if so, will it be in the language I have the game stted?

Also, I'm going to play it in Split Screen with another player, and how do you reccomend to split the monitor? Vertically so we have the right speed of movements and FOV or the other way? Thanks.

That's fair, thanks for the feedback. Though in that part you're supposed to use the rocket launcher for the kamikaze horde, that usually takes care of them easily (and you can try running higher up or going farther away as the area is wider than it looks).

i felt the area was a little too narrow and it's pretty difficult to beat the 2nd map on single player. the combination of close-range harpies coming down while kamikazees are running toward you is really difficult to manage once you run out of machine gun ammo. The terrain was also a bit too clunky to navigate, i was getting stuck on the surfaces a lot and it caused me a few more deaths. Overall it's a nice map but i think it could use some improvements on the terrain and maybe spawn the harpies a bit higher or farther away.

Thanks, it should transition to the credits level when you kill all enemies. There might be some harpies stuck somewhere, I had that happen once. Try reloading a save before the fight and trying again.

More a survival map than a single player one. Everything just rushes you at once. Short like the author said, but with awesome visuals and background sound. Hope to see this mod to continue to grow with new levels, larger levels and more structure from the attacking badguys than one big mad rush.

Still and all, a spectacular achievement. Congrats. It was fun!

the attacking speed of the enemies should be adjusted a little to the movement speed. Otherwise it was awesome

Thanks for the comments guys, really appreciated, glad to see people enjoying it! Yeah touching Soviet radios will wreck your shit. :P Nah the moral of the campaign, as I intended it to be, is that the player gradually goes insane and starts hearing/seeing stuff. All of those murders wouldn't be realistically possible in such a small area, and the water wasn't very deep before to hold the monsters wasn't it...? Though the reasoning behind whatever happens can be left to your own imagination too.

The campaign is short because it took a lot of effort to make it that intense and detailed, and also because it's an experiment to try out some new things in SS3. I may sometime in the future try to continue it, but not in the meanwhile at least since I'm taking a break. :P More actual horror is something I'd like to try too.

Nabnoob, it's sorta "half-scary". It tries to scare you with athmosphere in places, there aren't cheap jumpscares all over the place though. :P

That was deffinately the best custom campain iv ever played. you need to make more like this. with the Amnesia sounds i was thinking you should make a horror one, and try to put in some amnesia monsters. Best maps ever though
