I doubt it'll extend to quotimizer though, this one was relitavely easy to do and someone by the name of Travislator was nice enough to think of Wurt's quotes for me. I don't play wurt so I've no clue how to make quotes for her.
The most I plan on doing with this mod is fixing up the shamlet mask with wurt and adding one new feature to the fancy helmet.
For the fancy helmet I do plan on making it give increased damage resistance when worn alongside a body slot armor item, encouraging using two armor pieces, it'll be like in hamlet where you wear both the fancy helmet and tin suit to get 96% armor with great durability, allowing heavy tanking.
I think the Cowl should drain your sanity. Not only do many items that seem too ridiculous to work drain sanity in Don't Starve, such as Dark Sword and Armor, but so do the Spiderhat that also pacifies hostile creatures. Give it a sanity drain of around -3/min.
Maybe rework the Thunderhat into a helmet with lighting isolation? I don't really see much point with a hat that only gives lighting isolation for a limited time at that price. Reworking it into armor that is good against Volt Goats and that could be used for permanent lighting isolation if you don't damage it would be OK however and make it fit a niche better.
I think that you should remove at least Bunnymen from following the Royal Crown owner. I rather see you remove both. Make pigs follow you +100% longer for each piece of meat you give them, similar to Woodie's perk. Make pigs pick up everything that they find, instead of eating it, and drop it at your feet. Give the crown an AoE buff to all pigs around you. A small buff to damage, damage resistance and movement speed. Would make it a bit more interesting and maybe worth its price. The original price was too cheap, but yours seem too expensive. Yours you would only be able to build quite late game, unless you are very good. In late game food will often not be an issue anyway and then you rather spend those expensive recipe resources on other things. Keep only the Thulecite Crown in the recipe since that one is arguably the easiest to get yet still limited.
I'll get back to DST proper at some point, sorry for lack of updates, I'll get back to them when I am properly focused on DST again.
I was away for awhile, now after updating all the mods, this thing spams the chat and some of the mods are causing clients to crash due to "out of sync. Which is strange.
I never tampered with anything related to the tex files, this seems like something left over from kynoox?
[00:13:09]: Could not find anim bank [disguisehat]
[00:13:09]: WARNING! Could not find region 'disguisehat.tex' from atlas 'images/inventoryimages.xml'. Is the region specified in the atlas?
[00:13:09]: Looking for default texture '' from atlas 'images/inventoryimages.xml'.
As for WX I guess it would just block overcharge, that's all.
Yeah my friends and I like the hamlet hats, but were never a fan of them being OP as heck, this was my attempt at making them more like they are in hamlet(not perfect ofc).
I recently changed the Fancy Helmet recipe, hopefully it gives users of the mod more of a reason to hunt ewecus! (Or just use that one mod that lets you tame the ewecus.)
Especially that you managed to keep Shamlet Mask from Hamlet somewhat untouched.
I am good with Spiders attacking me as Webber because it is a disguise.
