The text is all localized, so anyone could make a Chinese or other language translation for it, but I'm not distributing translations with it. If there's a Chinese translation mod you use for the base game, and they include any other mods with their translation, I recommend contacting them and requesting they include translations for this mod in it as well. It might feel like a lot of effort for them for relatively few people using it though, as this mod doesn't currently have a huge subscriber base. :-P

@torkkar, you are responded to with hostillity because you went, and im parafrasing here, "so i see you dont like making cool stuff"...on a page, with really cool stuff that one one did before. it sounded kinda snobbish/not verry nice.

Making requests on a specific mods page is also kinda.. odd TBH. i mean if you suggested a mod in the ace discord, or asked people if they could help you with modding basics so you could make what you want you would find much friendlier responses. (hell i teach people the basics prety regularly on that discord) but.. whatever.

@DaniAngione yes you are and I am free to request & to probe moders whom have the skills I don't to make the things I want in the games I play. my first comment was a simple & respectful probe after trying this mod and discovering the turret towers are well made but I didn't want a T.C. mod because I like the way the game plays normally but I would like some turrets with infinite ammo like Archers have so I probed the question.

as for my involvement in the modding community of this game I've helped out several mods in beta Bug hunted clan amberstone mod & the Goblin clan mod and reviewed ACE as well as hunted for bugs my review of ACE indicates it does not play well with non-ACE partition mods like ANY mods I use and aces bug were already being addressed so I didn't report any there.

However I find for my purposes ACE & this TCTD mod are not what I'm looking for so I made a simple probing inquiry & a rough Idea of what I'd like to see as a mod for the base game, then waited for a response and I get an EA type auto response that makes me feel handled buy a foreign customer service tech. an acceptable answer to my first post is:

"thanks for your interest however we're not interested in other mods at this time"

I'd have dropped it there but no you guys give a handled response & Paul flaunts his position in the ACE team but why? I don't care if he's a Primary Programmer or the damnable janitor the way my question was responded to was in all effects rude + how was I supposed to know you guys didn't do other mods or idea's? you didn't say it in your mods description or in a comment.

lastly aside from the one guy I reported I do agree this mod is great for showing whats possible but I can also say it misses a niche with people like me who want more in the base game for defences but a response from Paul & his second egg-on comment I must say are not good for dealing with a community & they come off as Anti consumer so EA games and in the end that's what I and all whom try this mod are we are Consumers and deserve not to be "Handled" down talked, egged on, or set up for persecution by the community for asking if you'd be interested in X & offering suggestion Z

now thank you for your time & good luck with your modding & if this is the ACE team please try to make ACE mod partitions compatible with other contents like Trappers + & Clan Amberstone.

I'm Commander Shepard, and this is my favorite mod on the workshop.

I think this is a great idea for a mod because it really shows what you can do with modding other than just add random items. sometimes a mod for a game is NOT some awesome item, for example, this mod is altering the base game, which is a city builder game, and redesigning it to be a different game to see if you can do it.

People are free to create the mods they want, not the mods you want. Don't talk about attitude when you go to the comment boxes of people mods to request mods you want rather than, well, comment on their mods themselves. Wanting mods is not a problem, but you can't go around demanding people - or worse - accusing them of "not doing what you think is right" just because they have the skills for modding but are not focusing on what you expect :P

ah that was relevant in the subject matter that you made turrets in essence a missing feature from the base and my last was in attempt to gauge willingness for another mod for those of us interested less in total conversions & more toward improving or adding features rather than saying "to hell with this game I'll make my own out of it"

I'm one of the primary contributors to ACE. This mod is a total conversion mod and has absolutely nothing to do with the base game, and my development of it has absolutely nothing to do with my other modding contributions. Please limit your comments to relevant topics.

so I'm guessing your not into makeing awsome stuff for the base game cause I'd like some turrets made by the engineer & Geomancer that don't use turnips as ammo I mean come on our archers have limitless ammo why not our defences?
