Super cute pictures for the mod page, currently trying it out and it seems very promising.

I'm really appreciating the navigable waterways so far!

Steam doesn't work well with workshop maps. You have to move it from the Mods folder to the Maps folder in My Documents.

I can't find the map in the maps list. Where is it located? I don't see the "Custom Game" option after clicking on mods btw

I have never seen such a mod presentation, it is like an advertising for a"mod product" !
I have to recognise that it is an efficient mean to promote this map ! ;)

Oh this is just what I wanted, thanks.

@MagoosGaloos @Kaotic Kanine , This is my first map, so I can't do too much debugging because I just don't have the experience. I believe that bug (you're subscribed to mod, you enable the mod in the mod list, but no map shows up) is roughly caused by having too many mods downloaded or you subscribed to too many too quickly or something like that. As a potential fix, you can download the mod again through this site: {LINK REMOVED} (steamworkshop . download or some other steam workshop direct-download site) then it MIGHT fix your problem.

@Bobson this shouldn't have any conflicts with any other mods. You can certainly play ynaemp 43 civs, BUT they won't all have TSL in the scenario. If you really really want to have TSL for all your civs, then the best thing I can suggest is that you spawn all of the civs you want in game and then handplace their cities in their real-world locations using the IGE mod. I've done a couple playthroughs like that. It's very tedious to do, but they're fun games.

Basically I have no idea how to make a TSL with more than 22 civs.

A few too many mountains and natural wonders for my taste but apart from that it's great.

does this mod work with the ynaemp 43 civ mod?

I will check into installing this a little later, but thx for all your hard work. Look forward to playing it.

I'm having the same problem as MagoosGaloos; I'm subscribed to this mod and have it enabled in the in-game mod browser. But when I actually try to set up a game, 'Geographic Earth Plus' is nowhere to be seen in the map list. I looked into the game files via my computer's file explorer and the mod is definitely in the right spot, with the modinfo and Resources within. Granted, it's apparently 'v 1' of the mod instead of 'v 2', but that shouldn't prevent the map from being usable, right? So, is there something missing? Or something I'm doing wrong?

@Magoos You have to load the map into your mod file folder in your file explorer. Use google, there're plenty google hits for this topic.

Cam you make it to where we can play the map on marathon with true start because every time on true start it will reset the marathon speed I selected in the set up screen back to standard speed upon starting the game
MagoosGaloos 12 Apr, 2019 @ 9:05pm
I have the map enabled in the mods browser, but nothing shows up when I try to load the map. Is there something I should be doing differently or looking for?

@Franz @:^) workshop maps have been updated. The jungle features are placed on plains tiles because that prevents them from turning into hard-to-remove marsh tiles.
Turboscopic  [author] 11 Apr, 2019 @ 11:36pm
Map has just been updated to v_2 with some minor fixes and changes. Thanks for all the support! If you've already started a playthrough with this map pre-update, there's no need to update, go on as you are!

@cain this just makes it so that setting up a trans oceanic colony isn't useless. The weird geography makes localized sections of the map feel a bit more real, so now you can sail ships up the st lawrence or send traderoutes through suez without founding a city there.
BOY♂NEXT♂DOOR 10 Apr, 2019 @ 5:05pm
@Franz
If you look at the first screenshot, you can make out the jungle in the Amazon. He seems to have turned off the tile features for the second.

I always wonder when seeing those earth maps if people know that the earth has two hemispheres, one mainly filled with water. For me its just too stupid to play on an Earth where Africa is located next to America. And then calling it geographical? Come on.
Franz 9 Apr, 2019 @ 7:05pm
Haven't downloaded yet, but did you make south america have plains instead of jungle?
