PEIA Legends: On-File Draco & Rush

@gavin.foley19 Thanks. That's kind of fair, original Draco is quite overpowered and hard to improve on, so for fluff reasons, if anything, I wanted him to be powerful but more punishing to play. If you remember that you don't need ammo or lethal weapons to fulfil his corpse requirement, you should have an easier time!

I feel like on file draco is worse, it might be because I'm playing on hard mode. Still love the mod
Hekateras  [author] 30 Aug, 2020 @ 5:17pm
I've implemented the static bomb change, loving this effect ^^
Hekateras  [author] 18 Aug, 2020 @ 12:20pm
Interesting idea, I'll consider that. Shouldn't be hard to implement. One issue might be that if it's permanent, it's too OP, but if it's for 1-2 turns, it might be a little too niche.

And thank you for the feedback, it's nice to see that in this relatively small community, people are enjoying the mods. ^^

Oh and I'd make the static bomb deafen a single guard it's directly thrown at. It just feels fitting.

I love the modding for this game, it feels like there's a constant effort to 'fill in the blanks' on the roster, and for them to almost always be well thought out and unique is consistently amazing to me.

Thank you for your answer, Hekateras.

Note that mods such as Worldgen Extended, Agent 47, New Items and Augments, Programs Extended and Age of Lever all now require Function Library to run, so be careful about that if you have them and update them. Function Library is actually just a common mod that combines all the function overrides that the above mods were previously making separately. Before it existed, PEIA Legends just checked for New Items and Augments and copied its change if NIAA wasn't installed, but it wasn't listed as a requirement. The change is recent (update v.2.2).
Hekateras  [author] 11 Apr, 2020 @ 3:20am
@Maliboo
Thank you! ^^ Function Library it makes changes to the way the charges of thrown items work, so it's necessary for reusable grenades (by default, they're discarded after being thrown and this is hardwired into the game). Without FuncLib installed, PEIA Legends actually makes those changes manually, but for compatibility reasons (e.g. with New Items and Augments or other mods that use the same reusable grenade mechanic) it's better to reference the FuncLib change for consistency.
Maliboo 11 Apr, 2020 @ 1:44am
I've been using your mod for a while now (like it very much, by the way), but I just noticed that I'm not subscribed to the Function Library that's listed as a required item. I'm usually careful about checking mod requirements, so is it a recent addition? But your mod seems to work for me anyway, I'm using Draco in my current game and I used Rush a couple of weeks ago. So what is the Function Library required for?
Hotklou 26 Mar, 2020 @ 1:02am
I thought it was something like that. Well now we have our answer. :-D
Hekateras  [author] 25 Mar, 2020 @ 7:28pm
Switching them around would cause greater display issues than just the order being wrong. It's kind of complicated to explain though, especially without screenshots or copypasting code. If you like, you can join the Discord server and ask about it in #mod_corner. https://discordapp.com/invite/aQrXEse
Hotklou 25 Mar, 2020 @ 12:55pm
Question: Shouldn't the Archive and On-File buttons be switched around? My Archive button is on the left, and the On-File button is on the right. It is like this for both Draco and Rush.
Ophiuchus 18 Apr, 2019 @ 7:38pm
These two characters are great! They really feel like official additions. So far I've encountered no bugs in my campaign with them. I love their lore/character descriptions. Again, it totally fits with the game's tone and story. Fantastic work, thanks for making them!
Hekateras  [author] 16 Apr, 2019 @ 10:36am
Thanks, man! :)
Hotklou 16 Apr, 2019 @ 10:08am
Well whatever it is, you guys can try and do something with it. I love you and the other modders' projects. You guys are awesome.
Hekateras  [author] 16 Apr, 2019 @ 10:02am
Nevermind, it was a usable item, not an augment.
Hekateras  [author] 16 Apr, 2019 @ 10:01am
Protocol78 is an unused augment in the DLC item code (though it looks functional). Description:
PROTOCOL78_TIP = "Uses a console. Raises the alarm 2 levels. Each alarm level after that, safes get +25 credits.",
PROTOCOL78_FLAVOR = "One of Derek's most infamous corporate exploits was the abuse of Protocol 78 which would relocate credit into more \"secure\" locations during times of emergency.",
Hotklou 16 Apr, 2019 @ 9:59am
Just out of curiosity, what augment were you talking about? What does it do?
Hotklou 16 Apr, 2019 @ 9:57am
Well I don't have Central or Monst3r unlocked yet... haven't had the time and patience to fully complete an Experienced run before. But I always wondered....
Hekateras  [author] 16 Apr, 2019 @ 9:56am
Hehe, no problem. : )
Yes, they're the same people. It's easy to miss at first, but it's referenced in their bios and in the 'real name' part of their loadouts.
Hotklou 16 Apr, 2019 @ 9:55am
Ugh... sorry. Got confused with Rush. And Gladstone and Derek are Central and Monst3r? Guess it makes sense now... didn't think of it before. Well thanks then!
Hekateras  [author] 16 Apr, 2019 @ 9:52am
Rush is in this mod.
And I mean, technically Olivia and Derek already have on-file versions, they're called Central and Monst3r, they're just not listed under the same agent tab.

That said, making 'alternate' onfile versions of them could be on the table, especially since there's still an unused Derek augment in the code.
Hotklou 16 Apr, 2019 @ 9:24am
Oh and there's Derek too...
Hotklou 16 Apr, 2019 @ 9:11am
Do you think that Gladstone and Rush could get something like this too? Cuz it feels like they're missing out a bit...
Hekateras  [author] 16 Apr, 2019 @ 7:15am
@crunchydog
Thanks. Yes, they're rescuable and this is RAA-compatible, however, it will overwrite RAA settings for these particular two agents. Currently, the mod adds either the onfile or the archived version to the detention pool at random for both agents. If desired, I could add a generation option to let you choose that as well.
waifu 16 Apr, 2019 @ 7:12am
Very nice work. Feels like a missing piece to the game was finally inserted. Are these agents rescuable in rescue missions? And is this compatible with the "rescuable archive agents" mod?
17left 13 Apr, 2019 @ 9:03am
Fantastic!

The long awaited unofficial DLC to the official DLC!
Hekateras  [author] 11 Apr, 2019 @ 11:31am
Hi homedrone! :D
Thank you for the feedback. It seemed only fair, given Central's and Monst3r's starting skills.
If you don't mind, would you look into something? It seems you guys accidentally reversed an update and reintroduced some fixed bugs. Cyberboy2000 has discovered this:

The build of the game currently on Steam (once again) has bugs such as Draco's neural grid not counting as an augment (not having the "carryable" ability), scientists being able to spawn inside vaults, etc.
homedrone  [developer] 11 Apr, 2019 @ 10:34am
I like the perk of giving them level 3 skills to start. And the colours look great. Everything else also feels like a good twist on their previous abilities. Great work Hekateras :) I dig it.

Legends returning from the grave! And now with a second life to fight the corps again. What good work.
