This mod is out of date and has been replaced by Drongo's Map Population. DMP has way more features, better code and works with ALiVE and HAL NR6.

Is the mod not compstible with the RHSPKL map? I get an error when I stat AO on the map.

Through the standard inventory option (once he is dead). I would recommend using DMP though, this mod is no longer supported.

Question on searching the HVT for intel: I know how to arrest and interrogate with "TAB", but how do I search? I cannot find the option to search his body. Once, I couldn't even find his body after he was eliminated by a teammate.

That means the mod can not read some necessary config values from the map. Anyway, this mod is not supported anymore, please use Drongo's Map Population instead.

I tried using this with CUP Chernarus Summer and it said the map was not set up properly, what does that mean?

is it normal for random explosions to happen?
We assume its the IEDs, but when I go into Zeus and check, there's nothing there, just like randomized people exploding, is there a way to disable or work around this?
We can't live without the IEDs in missions, but randomly having our nuts blown through our skulls can get a bit annoying

Press tab to get them to surrender, push it one more time to interrogate. I like to use ace zipties after they surrender in case they get loose

@mfrisch100 I can't interrogate officers before getting shot as well. But when you use a Rifleman (unarmed) or Survivor instead of an officer as enemy commander he doesn't have a gun, so you can interrogate him. Although that might be a bit cheesy.

@ZAGOR64BZ literally thought of this dumb possibility an hour or so after i posted. It was set to east for enemy faction.

On another question I defined my enemy vehicles, just pickup trucks with DSHKs in the back. But im still getting like random CSAT gun trucks spawning too.

@TDMatijas hey mate, be sure to ceck in the faction module and core module if enemy side is the one you want.It's easy to overlook this setting because I think WEST is default....

Im trying to run a simple mission with DAO. Im running 75th ranger regiment as Blufor, and syncing CSAT as opfor (Defining the enemy units). But when I go to test. I get a big message saying
! AO WARNING!
The friendly unity and enemy sides are set as allies.
Change this in the editor under. ATTRIBUTES>GENERAL>MISC>INDEPENDENTS>ALLEGIANCE.

I was under impression this is for the Independent factions only. I tried changing the setting there anyways but im still getting this warning. Really frustrating, has anyone encountered this??

@No457_Stonehouse Maybe there's a better solution, but I suggest you try to substitute AO with Drongo's DMP https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1990653162
It's gonna be much simpler to change just a few modules than replace all the units/triggers or whatever you already have put down on the map. As a bonus, DMP has many more features and it works on that map. I switched too to the new DMP, and are upgrading all my previous campaigns to it. Much more freedom with tasks and customization. Just my 2 cents.

Not anyone's fault but I've just spent quite a bit of time building a campaign based on AO on the RHSPKL map only to find the map isn't set up for it. Guessing indexing? Anyway before starting again on a different map I thought I would ask if there was any fixes/workaround that might allow me to salvage it that wasn't (hopefully) too technically difficult?

I've made a mission on CUP's Takistan map, and it works fine when I test in single player, but as soon as i try to test or play on multiplayer, the AO fails to generate. Any ideas?

It doesn't support planes. Again, look at Drongo's Map Population, it supports planes and has a lot of other additions and improvements.

No cleanup is included, I think there is a BIS cleanup option in the editor though.

Probably a problem with my implementation of dynamic simulation. I'll fix this soon. In the meantime I recommend using my Drongo's Map Population mod, it is much more up to date and has more options overall.

Hi, I really enjoy the mod. The only problem I came across is that the enemy AI would almost never shoot me or my team, even if I stand right beside them. My team is WEST and I set the enemy to EAST (used CUP's Takistan Militia as enemy). Any idea what the solution could be?

For some reason, when I start this in Local MP, the task sweep is created, 30 seconds after the task is automagically completed and the mission ends. Am I doing something wrong here?

@skrt skrt If you go check out the actual Armaholic page for ZBE caching, they've got some really easy instructions to implement it as a script (which I'd recommend over using the addon version). Once you've got that done, just disable dynamic simulation in Attributes > Performance.

I was able to troubleshoot it. It had to do with the size of AO (had to be enlarged as suggested), and the number of units/ patrols i was spawning within the AO.

Looks like it isn't picking up towns, try a bigger AO or different part of the map.

AO uses this to determine the map's size:
worldName call BIS_fnc_mapSize;

According to AO, that map is returning a map size less than 1, which probably means the size of the map is not entered correctly in the config. I might replace the above function with worldSize in a future update.

For now, maybe try reporting the bug to RHS. Also, I recently released Drongo's Map Population which replicates and improves upon many areas of AO and should work with that map.

Dada fixed the dynamic spawn and I will upload his version soon. As for ending the campaign, I'll add an option for campaign management next patch. In the meantime, if you can call this on the server, it will reset:

Is there any particular command you can enter to reset the campaign? I realize the "Force New Campaign" option is there for mission building, but I'm looking to reset it between weeks while its on a dedicated server and don't really want to have to pull down the mission, tweak, reupload etc. over and over again.

Is there particular parameters that anyone has found work particularly well for ZBE Caching with regards to this mission? I’m generating a lot of units and it doesn’t seem to want to cache a lot of them despite being outside the required distance.
