You can set in object thing def that the AI will ignore objects. It is not set for this object so they attack them. But you could mod the mod to be that way.

Do only colony Pawns know about the secret passages (for example, like how only colony Pawns know about our own placed traps?) or are enemies aware of the doors as well?

From my understanding the AI targets the weakest points in your defences i.e. lower hp walls than surrounding ones and doors which have less hp than walls. So in theory the AI shouldn't attack the hidden doors unless its got the lowest hp of your defensive wall, say a wooden secret door near granite walls and doors.

Okay I see, well that you didn't make code purposefully to change how NPC's interact with them leads me to assume they are treated like doors as normal. It'd be neat if they served as a truly 'hidden' structure but I'm not sure how that'd even work in a game where NPC's essentially see the whole map all the time anyway. Thanks for the response :)

I don't know how the enemy AI works. The secret doors have the same health as their respective walls so I'd assume they'd show no preference either way but someone earlier suggested otherwise

Do these doors have any function except looking different? Like, will enemies detect them normally and attack them for being a player-owned structure like any other door? If no what about when enemies see a colonist flee through one, will they 'see' the door and attack it then?

erm... I guess changing where it says '1.1' to '1.0' in the mod's 'about' file would fix that, that's just about all I changed. I've not really read into how backwards compatibility works.

Does anyone knows if this is compatible with Locks? Also, please comee back and play more Rimworld. This mod has so much potential. It would be nice to have compatibility with mods like Doors Expanded, Reinforced Doors, and especially the doors from Lord of the Rims! Imagine a secret dwarven door HA!

one factor while enemies are patfinding, they will take the fastest movespeed floor type.
this can "hint" them towards your secret door because in fact they are just hitting the secret door thinking it is a wall (same HP as a wall)
if you dont have a 100% movespeed path on your secret door then I dont know what could cause it.
and of course in this whole example i am not talking about sappers. they will definetly prefer to go through walls/ doors rather than walking. they only walk to avoid turrets.

would be amusing to have the mountain looking doors built using two stone chunks rather than cut blocks :P. might be a bit OP so needs work amount added that would have been used cutting the blocks
also yes i like the idea of using steel rather than component. again though it might be worth adding the work amount that would have been spent at a fabrication bench or something instead : )

I don't know how the enemy AI works but to my knowledge, they should show no bias towards the secret doors as they have the same properties as their respective walls; whereas normal doors have much less health than walls of the same material

are they still targeted by enemies tho ? they shouldn't know that's there and therefore attack somewhere else.
