So I don't know if this will help anybody but I recently just discovered this.

I thought the random ieds module was broken and didn't work, but I figured out what will make it work. Firstly, if you're testing it in single player then that won't work since the mod runs a check to see if it's being ran on a server or not.

Secondly, the spotters for IEDs automatically get set to INDFOR, and by default INDFOR is friendly to BLUFOR meaning they won't trigger the IEDs.

Again, maybe this was something everybody else already knew but I sure as hell didn't and it made me think the mod was broken. Might want to update the documentation to reflect the requirements for the random ied module to work.

No no, it was already inside the original project. I think you guys removed it. I was asking if you could add it back and fix it but, nevermind. Goodluck with other stuff!

@autistic stormtrooper I don't really have the time to add something that big to the project sadly. I have alot of other projects on the go along with university and many other commitments.

@Griffin It is the best working version of EODS out there that i know of at this time, it has most IEDs working. of course you may use it.

@Kanonenfutter I'm going to keep up with it, however i am currently setting up a unit, so i've got alot of other stuff to do. however we will be addign stuff as a unit.

@classic , just look at the old mod, there is tons of videos out on it too, there is a bunch of very cool objects it offers as well, a robot like swat teams have, new ieds, and bomb suit, trust me, if he gets this mod up and going a ton of people are going to be on it, a lot of people were pretty let down when the previous author walked away from it, certainly one of the better mods that arma had, and it was ahead of its time, so it is still cutting edge imo

sadly i haven't had time for pictures, i am in the middle of university exams, and i decided as it was working well enough i would release this fix without pictures, if you want to have a look at the assets, feel free to subscribe and download the mod :)

I'll give it a test later, I played with it a few weeks ago, and the modules were shot, and the ides were spitting out array errors if I remember right. LOTS of people were let down when this fell off the shelf, so you are about to be a popular guy lol

I haven't seen it crash in a long time, its pretty stable at this point. The coke can and one of the IEDs don't work, along with the suit and robot working, to the best of my knowledge the rest of it works fine

Wish I was able to help just to expedite it, but my skills is in mission scripting, have not touched on the mod aspect yet, all though I do understand what I'm looking at 8 times out of ten, it will be awesome to see this one come back to life, of of the best game changing mods of its time.

How stable is it ? I'm afraid to add it to active list on my current mission lol

yeah, in my spare time i have been working on this, i have other mods in development, however due to uni time constraints its a little hard to keep on top of all the mods. There will be more to come regarding this mod, however it may be awhile, i do have people looking to help.
