As I had my old computer die, I have no ability to produce a class for you. I hope you find something close to what you are looking for though ;)

Okay so steam lied it was less then a gig...but it wasn't...and had to spend an hour trying to launch it, it doubled in size, found a fix, launched it, gave me the finger and I give up...too much trouble just to make specialist but with bigger gun = o=

crap. so close...I wanted the exact opposite of this...a hacking sharpshooter u.u
Thought of doing it myself but...90 fking gigs for them dev tools DX

Ah, now it makes sense :) Thanks!

That is entirely not weird, but fully intentional. This class has the healing functions of the specialist only.

Really good support hero class, the only weird thing is that it doesn't want to hack mission objective remotely.

Hmm, well, giving the class sniper rifles is a pretty easy change, but there isnt a way for the game to realise you have an 'offensive vrs defensive' one. I do not intend to add the full size rifle to the class myself, as that would be a lot of extra damage to a support class, but I believe in you - you can do eeet! Just be aware that if you do add the extra weapon, that any soldier already with this class still will not get the option, only newly made ones post edit will.

I feel like maybe giving them the option to use both Vektor Rifles and Snipers might be a good compromise? Snipers for the offensive shepherds and Vektors for the medics. I would edit if I wasn't terrified of touching even ini files in case I break everything XD

Yah fair point. The lower damage of the vektor rifle is only compounded by it's slower damage advancement - The design of the class was to be back behind the team using support, hence the skill picks as they are. And yes, the medical marksman's idea but less structured design was exactly what prompted me to make this class - my own version of that class done the whay I felt it should have been done :) Feel free to edit any of my classes to the way you would want them to be.

Loving this class so far! I do agree that early game being able to move and shoot at Squadsight is pretty strong, however I can see it dropping off later in the game. I already prefer this compared to the Medical Marksman, because it's Marksman tree is not as broken as the Medical Marksman's equivilent. I feel the need to point out you might want to adjust the XCOM skills list, as you can get Kill Zone as an XCOM skill as well! XD

I guess I find the much higher focused damage that a Sharpshooter to be capable of is still attractive to me, however I do have a lot of mods that increase enemy pod size and strength so my experience would be tainted. I lack the modding skills to add something that isnt already in the base game. I know some people do not like classes that do a lot of 'out of turn' actions, which this class does do, so there will always be playstyle preferences that clash.

This class is great, but it almost completely obviates Sharpshooter. The ability to move, then shoot with a sniper rifle, with no aim penalty puts this class way over the top. If this class could just take an aim penalty after a move, this class would be perfect.

Love it! Excellent all around class.

Thank you :) I am glad this class has met your needs.

Very good mod, thanks! Ready for Anything, Sentinel and a few others really engage the sniper. Not just a bystander.

Excellent, we will go with that as a reason.

I thought it was a Reference to Adrian Shepard from Opposing Forces

I am going to go with a regional miss-spelling, although the use of Shepard's armour for the picture was definitely intentional.

I'm kind of worried about coming off like a jerk here, but I have to ask: Is the name "shepard" an homage to the Mass Effect series, or is it just "shepherd" misspelled? Either way I'm going to try this one.
