100% agree w/ DocHoliday - Thanks Haurbus for sharing your work!

Thanks Doc. That does mean a lot to hear :)

Hey look on the bright side, at least your fixes are easy and the framework is already in place to fill in most. I just started a new game yesterday and once I had enough Titanium and Iron to make your smallest freighter I did. I was trapped in the same sector for a moment but as soon as I got enough I switched out the frameworks for energy container and that fixed the problem. Over time all I needed was more and more titanium to fix the maneuverability problem and that wasn't too hard. :check_mark:

You made fantastic freighters that are perfect for beginners, crappy ship builders (Me), and even some game vets. If you include any new freighters or revamps of these in your curated list I will definitely subscribe again. :shakinghands:

Yeah likely Im going to make a curated list of 2.0 ships hopefully to resolve that. Will be a smaller library of ships.

Unfortunate though 2.0 seemed to break so many of my ships.
DocHoliday 11 Sep, 2021 @ 10:35pm
So far the only problem I see with it,as of 2.0, is that it doesn't have enough energy container (batteries) for the hyperspace jump, at least from this model up. Giving it Naonite replacements seems to fix it.

Will have to see how these play out with 2.0. Obviously a bunch has likely changed and curious what happens. This was a early-mid game vessel, but was pretty easy to get a few hours into the game.

Super nice ship, been using 5 of these now with 5 Mining lasers each and it works super good.

It is early game. Tit can be found like 5-10 gates from you starting position if i remember correctly.

The Exile, you're probably looking for something like my Pyxis. It's recommended to be build before the Reliquary

82,734 titanium isn't early game. Lol.

I wish people would make some of these ships with just Iron or using only sparing amounts of titanium.

Much appreciated . And yes, I always include links to source material. I find the numbers and spec stuff pretty easy, but the appearance and theme stuff incredibly hard, so I always appreciate the builders who provide something to base on.
Haurbus  [author] 3 May, 2020 @ 11:02pm
Hey Intransonic. If you want you're welcome to upload. I guess depending, but mentioning where you got inspiration, or a link to my original would always be appreciated but yeah I heavily encourage people to modify, or use/learn from this stuff.

I hope you keep exploring and creating.
intrasonic 3 May, 2020 @ 8:20pm
Do you have a preference about people uploading modifiied/derivative versions of your stuff? I ask, because this freighter has turned into one of my main practice/testbeds, and I'm pretty happy with it at this point. It's quite heavily altered at this point, although the origins are still pretty obvious side-by-side.

Do you allow uploading, or would you prefer not?

so i had it running for pretty much 100% of time since my last post. i love no input gaming :D. 3 R-Miners 80%+ on 1 ship are enough to strip a sector in 15-60min depending on the ressources scale avaible. they haul insane ore values really fast and so far im not under the impression anyone of them ever got stuck. Big cargo > big ore amount > extremly little time wasted ant the depot. in fact they haul SO much that they work fastest when not using the same depot as refining point as the time needed for refinement can get long enough for them to get in lline and wait. also suuuuper low crew cost of something between 20-26k depending on the amount of additional mods and training. loving it and will convert my full fleet in the next session.

Im really happy to hear this has been working for you. I never did too much testing with AI control on it but I know it got stuck not that often compared to my larger ships and the lasers didn't always go crazy on it so it's good to hear it's been doing well.
Rot 6 23 Apr, 2020 @ 12:03pm
So im 80hrs into my first run (some night time running to keep the money coming :D) and just now switched from the well recieved n.c.i. industrial design of 7 solts to this for ai miners. it does SOOOOO much better because while in sector. nci's went bonkers when equpied with more then one laser. your ships are just sooo more stable in while ai piloted and i enjoyed my brief flight for crew in them too because i had less problems with "the brakes" and felt esier to manoeuver overall. Compared to the nci's7 the ship doesnt go crazy with its turrets while in sector and out of sector 3-4 of this with 3 laser each outstrip a sector very fast without much risk of losing one of those rare 100k+ hidden bricks to to low cargo.
Haurbus  [author] 4 Apr, 2020 @ 12:13pm
yeah I built these under the guise it was something Id want myself. This one here lasts me a long time and does really well for me. Glad its working for you too instrasonic.
intrasonic 4 Apr, 2020 @ 8:08am
Loving your freighter series. A great combination of low block counts and interesting aesthetics - just because my NPC's are lowly robo-miners doesn't mean I can't set them up in a little bit of style! This is pretty much my go-to R-miner at this point.
Haurbus  [author] 13 Mar, 2020 @ 3:06pm
Glad to hear it's working out GulfXray. Im using them myself for R-mining as well. Keep updating their material and have them in trinium areas myself.
GulfXray 13 Mar, 2020 @ 3:02pm
Great freighter - have a couple r-mining and plan to get a few more for mining, salvage, general freight. Thanks for all your hard work on this and your other ships - it is much appreciated! Now to find a ship for iron-naonite region hidden masses :)
Haurbus  [author] 19 Oct, 2019 @ 12:17am
Super glad to hear it's still working out! They help me a lot out as well when I do my occasional playthrough. Filled a niche role I realized I needed.
FyfeBabylon5 18 Oct, 2019 @ 10:20pm
no actually thanks so much. Your IMC are the backbone of all my fleets. Thanks for building this!
V-sync 18 Aug, 2019 @ 1:08am
Thanks

9555 units of Cargo
V-sync 17 Aug, 2019 @ 11:43am
How much cargo can it take?
Haurbus  [author] 17 May, 2019 @ 10:32pm
Thanks Fyfe, I really appreciate hearing that.
