The latter Mod adds full suport for breeding VFEI Insects, but has none of your improvements or advanced changes. I would like to see that either incorporated by a Patch or have you add that in yourself.
As for Kwamas (as Veronicafoxx brought up), that's impossible with their canonical cycle. A Kwama Queen produces baby Kwamas that grow up into different castes, like the VFEI Insect Queen does.
You want me to make sure that the VFE Insects breed with Eggs. The Patch would remove the breeding system from the other Mod entirely and replace it, in whole cloth, with yours. Everything else can be added without interfering with it, I think.
You want this Mod's features and his combined, with yours taking precedence when they overlap. I miss my Adamantium, I miss my eggs, I miss my Makeshift Hives... but I love Taming the VFE Insects...
I ask because I remember you talking about these two other mods in the past at least once, so I want to understand what you're looking for from each of them is all.
I need to refresh myself with everything before I can take a dive in so let me know.
VeronicaFoxx - I still can't remember why I didn't update it to 1.4 so it may run fine as you state. Is their anything you dislike or wish was different etc? Since i'll be in it soon may as well ask :)

I feel that it would be a good idea to contact the man behind the other Insect Mod and ask them for help. Or better, work with him to combine your Mods.
That other Mod adds taming VFE Insects, but it also causes Vanilla rendition Insects to give live birth , eliminates their ability to carry anything, and other changes that are good, but so limited.
I pine for your Mod every day, but I can't give up that good VFE stuff. The Insects you listed there are part of the VFE Insects Mod, not his creations.

safe to use both? well i will try i don't really care about taming insects i just want stronger and more variety the armor and skulls will be nice
From the code I see it adds the following insects:
larvae
megapede
gigalocust
royal megaspider
insectoid queen
Update has been tested and pushed to steam.
-- If you unload mid save you will loose eggs and anything from this mod and get errors on the first load, but you should be good on the second load. I would save it to a new name first, then uninstall so if it ruins the save its your renamed one and not your real one.
-- Adamantium is used in many other mods, so we will change its name here in this one. HoneyDew sounds doable, TY for the suggestion.
--We want this MOD to also let other insects from other mods reproduce? Be tamed? What exactly do we want here?

I'll work on the simple things while I wait for the cross MOD compatibility details from you guys.
Or, you could just add Vanilla Factions Expanded Insects Mod support to your Mod, and I can come home.
Please consider changing the name of "Adamantium" to something else. For one thing, Adamantium is a popular fantasy metal with a history going back to early Marvel comics and Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. It's also a metal added by various mods, including MorrowRim - Adamantium , Astra Militarum Imperial Guard Core , RimForge , RimForge Rebalanced and many other, older mods.
It'd be extremely confusing to have pawns mine Adamantium ore, smelt it into metal to craft weapons & armor or build walls, and then go milk Spelopedes for a different Adamanium to drink.
Maybe call it "Honeydew", "Manti juice", "Spelopede dew" "Spec dew" or "Sebacium"?
Do you think you could fix that, please?
