T00N3Y-SA, have you made sure to:
- actually pick the color white from the right side of the color tint screen where it lists the seat colors?
- enable your keypad and used the buttons on it?

I know this is old, but for some reason this mod doesn't work. I picked a car, and deleted the other 4. Changed the tint of the car to white, but then nothing happens. Any idea what's wrong?

Guardsman, it is really just a bunch of simple components.
1. You need some car models that you wanna use.
2. You need to put an RC car script on them and adjust it according to the respective instructions. Look either at the script by Markimus that I put in the description or find CHRY's "Carossa" scripts.
3. Find a camera and screen mod and join the cameras to the car. I can't find the workshop object for the ones I used right now, but there are a few out there. If all else fails, rip the ones I used off the cars. They are jointed into the front of the cars, if you look closely.
4. Design a track that is easy enough to navigate but exciting. Ideally make the main part of the track flat because I haven't seen a way to make actual wheels and suspensions work yet.

If you want to talk in more detail feel free to send me a friend request here on steam.

Thats awesome map! Very nice and greatfull! I love how you did it, and hope to see you works again!
VivvyOfTheLake 8 Jun, 2021 @ 3:40pm
that's fair, good luck in ironing out the kinks! :)

Hey RobotSpark, thank you. Although actually, this was just a test and I find it pretty bland and it gets boring quickly. Plus, any other bog standard racing game offers more than this. I had some more racing maps planned, but at the moment they are on hold due me not being able to figure out some advanced things.
VivvyOfTheLake 8 Jun, 2021 @ 4:37am
This is great! Please make more race maps similar to this! (the other ones with jumps are a bit too hard for multiplayer)
DeadbeatTree 18 May, 2021 @ 2:43pm
Yes, that fixed it. Thank you for assisting and being punctual!
Baryonyx  [author] 18 May, 2021 @ 1:02pm
I replaced some broken assets, including the car skins and tested the cars again, they work like they should. Let me know if that helped and if there are any other files that are broken.
DeadbeatTree 18 May, 2021 @ 12:18pm
I can't get any of the cars to move. Followed the directions exactly. The underwater and volcano maps work perfectly, but the desert cars don't. Numpad is on. The decals also don't load, every car is white except for the bottom which shows the color tint, would that have something to do with it?
Baryonyx  [author] 18 May, 2021 @ 7:55am
DeadbeatTree, what does not work?
DeadbeatTree 17 May, 2021 @ 7:49pm
Can get all the other ones to work but not this one.
Baryonyx  [author] 12 Aug, 2020 @ 4:01pm
Thanks, please also check out the other two installments, that involve more action. Jumps, falls and even a looping!
vanx 12 Aug, 2020 @ 3:35pm
An awesome map. Thank you.

To everyone, I have added a card with detailed instructions to the table now. It can be found behind the spectator stands!
Wanderer 25 Jul, 2019 @ 10:26am
In all fairness to those who didn't understand, the written instructions above tell the user to look at the "link below" if you need instructions for use of vehicles. The link referred to does not appear to have instructions on the page. I had to look in this thread to see that you must go to the actual main mod linked to at the top to get the instructions. It could be more clear. But, having said that, I really appreciate what you did here. My son loves this.:cozyovercooked2:
Theonian 10 Jul, 2019 @ 1:49pm
Right ^^;
I just never noticed them the first time around, since I was looking at the track from above.
Baryonyx  [author] 10 Jul, 2019 @ 12:09pm
Nope, that's what the screens are for. :D
Theonian 10 Jul, 2019 @ 11:41am
Wait, are you supposed to just look at the big tower screens while driving? I think I misunderstood - I thought you were supposed to move your camera to align with a car and then lock its movement to that of the car or something ^^;
Baryonyx  [author] 10 Jul, 2019 @ 10:36am
If the saved camera positions do not work then just move your view to the screens. Setting your view to first person by pressing P should help with finding the right angle.
Theonian 10 Jul, 2019 @ 10:20am
How does that work? Selecting a camera number doesn't seem to change anything at all. I think I'm missing something.
Baryonyx  [author] 6 Jul, 2019 @ 5:45pm
Theonian, to get to the first person view of the cars, you have to move your camera to the screen corresponding to the car that you want to control. I have set camera positions, which you should be able to access with shift + number key.
Theonian 5 Jul, 2019 @ 8:14pm
I don't get how you enter first person view. Do you lock your camera to the car object or something? Holding Alt does nothing special.
tsbigal 22 May, 2019 @ 10:13pm
If you hold alt after holding the mouse over the screen it will make it full screen first person.
Baryonyx  [author] 21 May, 2019 @ 11:27am
As the instructions say on the main mod, you have to set one of the cars the color you chose for yourself (color tint) and then activate your numpad.
Карамысла 21 May, 2019 @ 11:17am
I can`t play it....How to use cars, i don`t understand
Альпино 21 May, 2019 @ 10:34am
Awesome :3
Baryonyx  [author] 21 May, 2019 @ 8:02am
You have to move your camera to the screen that has the camera of your car. Then you enable the controls of the car (see the link to the script in the description if you have problems with that) and then it should work. You can save the camera position by pressing Ctrl + number and then Shift + number to load the camera position so it is easier to get back to it when you have to move your car manually.
machineguy 20 May, 2019 @ 8:25pm
Uh, first person means first person camera right?... Don't know how to do that
