it keeps turning into a black cube when you scroll away from it do i need another mod to stop this

you know theres something as smooth shading right ? it makes the mesh look smooth with no additional triangle cost..

For context; each round sphere has 960 tris, the Ico sphere has 80 tris...

At the cost of thousands of Tris? Spheres are just so costly, was trying to save the count in an area that I viewed as non critical, thoughts?

you really should try to smooth out the spheres and ornament on top of the spires, rather than it being polygonal
