It also fixes the Fay Enchantress' potion of chalice by making it an arcane item so you can use it along with Morgiana's Mirror

Testing a new update. I removed the line for Morgiana's Mirror, as it has already been fixed by CA.

Franz's new quest item, Beast Slayer, should now be classified as an Enchanted Item. This way he can equip both it and Ghal Maraz once he unlocks it.

As for the Runefang he starts with by default, he will need to choose between that and Ghal Maraz. Once he takes up the hammer, essentially becoming Sigmar reborn, he needs to gift his starting Runefang to a new and worthy bearer.

This way, Franz may still equip all of his quest items simultaneously, but a generic lord cannot wield two Runefangs.

Sorry folks, I have not started an Empire campaign since the the new DLC and accompanying patch, so I'm still relatively ignorant to how the new changes work. I'm also in the process of making some time-consuming life changes, like moving to a new State and changing jobs, so I doubt I'll be sinking my teeth into an overhauled Imperial Mortal Empires campaign anytime soon.

If anyone would like to take this mod an run with it, please do, fellow Sigmarites need those updated Runefangs!

Is there any chance that you will make Dragon Tooth a Enchanted Item? I would like to use Dragon Tooth and Ghal Maraz too.

So uhm... Are you planning to make one of the runefangs an enchanted item? As it stands, ghal maraz isn't very useful anymore because you're better off just bringing a runefang.

How is this obsolete? We still NEED this mod to work in order to not throw silly Runefangs around in the game!

Morgiana's Mirror was fixed in the last patch, making that part of this mod obsolete. I need to see how the Runefangs were changed in the Empire overhaul, to see if Karl still needs his fixed. I'm starting an empire campaign today to determine that. Otherwise this mod will be left as-is for now, as I don't think either of these changes will be needed anymore, thanks to CA.

@heavystorm Due to the elector count system introduced in this update, the reikland runefang is classified as a weapon so that the elector count of reikland can use it as their weapon

@GnomeGnuts Is it possible to make a mod for you where the reikland runefang is not included?

@GnomeGnuts First campaign i had so many mods including ones maybe changes that table(Instant quest battles, 2x skill point for lords etc.). I got the item but it was weapon. Then i started fresh campaign with no mods at all, runefang was still a weapon.

The picture should be the same, the only change is the item category. I will need to start an Empire campaign to troubleshoot then - I tested it on Louen and Morgiana and it worked like a charm, I'm not sure why the same changes to the Runefang wouldn't work as well.

@heavystorm: Did you already have it equipped when you installed the mod? I know it doesn't work 100% right if the item is already equipped when you install the mod.

@SoulbreakerDHCC - Save game compatible, but if you're going disable the mod, unequip the affected items beforehand, otherwise your items may behave strangely.

@Orkiod Inquistor - Should be SFO compatible so long as SFO doesn't alter the items this mod affects. I don't play SFO, sorry can't confirm.

Would it be possible to instead make Reikland Runefang somehow non-unique? Its traditionally wielded by someone worthy of it, like Reiksmarshal, since Karl doesnt use it. Would be cool to have an option.

Thanks for this mod. I use the mod that enables the Lion's shield, so its great to be able to use both the shield and the armor of brilliance. Its also a great idea to be able to use both the runefang and ghal maraz.

Would be cool if this mod unlocked hidden artifacts as well, as there are very few vanilla artifacts that have this issue that I know of. Anyways, good idea. Should be patched into vanilla haha

I wasn't that bothered by the runfang/galmaraz situation, but the new bret items not being stackable with the rest is downright insulting.

nice idea to balance the fact that some heros have full inventory of legendary item and others have redundant item in their invenotry and have to choose one. for a lore point of view i will never use the mod for karl franz however. i am a tabletop gamer and i like the fact that you have to choose which weapon to use. it is ery tabletop top fiendly and also lore firendly. ghal maraz is the simbol of the emperor. wielding it is representing the whole empire. using the reikland runefang is meant for actions and battle simbolizing that karl franz i acting as reikland count and not as emperor in that particular occasion. good job for the work anyway

Is the icon for Reikland Runefang not changed to enchanted item-icon? I play with SFO Grimhammer, is it compatible per chance?
