@Flacktrack, if I remember correctly the name "AK-47" was given as a prototype name for the earliest AK model but yes you're right the official name for the Kalashnikov rifle is always AK/AKM.

To be fair the AK47 technically doesn't exit. Official Soviet record put the 47 down as just AK, and it was basically a piece of garbage (heavy, expensive, not very reliable.). The number misconception came from previous Soviet weapons (PPsH41, PPS43, etc) it wasn't until the AK-74 did they continue the date numbering

The AKM however is what many people refer to as the "AK47".

why is the firing sound BO1 AK47 sound when using incendiary ammo???
