I suggest creating a Perses for RE2, with limits set at least to Core9, with exploration and mining objectives. Both the Perses and the Nemesis are immortal ships in this game, they cannot disappear. Thank you.

CPU is locked on tier 1 and I cant get it higher. But your screenshot shows it at tier 4 CPU

@Zookie I do not think it was build for R.E. What I would do is try to modify the decks and rooms removing stuff to make room where possible

Any chance of doing a ship like this with room for shield arrays? im on a server with a limit of class 10 and compared to the persesv3 the v2 has more room in the hanger to throw some arrays but i was hoping maybe make a ship with designated locations for such things as tovera class dreads are a pain to deal with.

JRandall, you are MOST welcome! Actually I got, for my nobody's page, a fast spam of subs for the Refit :O 166 for me out of the blue says this one is still an old love for many vanilla players.

That was just tacking on guns and a little reorganizing lol, but shes completely fit for major combat now with the toughest CVs in Vanilla. I just added in a Xeno armor belt for better tanking too on my own, I may update to the BP.

But this one is all thanks to you and this apparently remains a BIG fan favorite :O I imagine a CV3 that resembles more of a battlecruiser, while still keeping the vast space, great lift and storage, and crew amenities would be one of your ATGs. But I am just fan-favoriting here lol.

So, should you do an updated version, the hefty firepower upgrades were quite popular. Thank YOU for letting me shamelessly schmooze off your great work, and looking for more again later!

I did an update to th CV2 for Vanilla 1.5 JRandall. But my refit takes it more to a battlecruiser/small craft attack carrier with extensive weapons upgrades. Now, she not only can handle conflict, she can take on some of the toughest craft in the game.

I made sure to credit you, dude! Your work is AMAZING. Refitted your M9XR too! I love that thing xD Also, credit to you on my page. If I am to mangle someones art, I will at least let them know!

Thinking of going for the Cosmos now. But I think in order to make 1.5 Vanilla compliant, some major changes will have to happen. Just spawning it in as it is, its 3x over CPU lol. It needs T3 CPU just to work. And thats before anything else. So, I may have to really refit it as it will be forced to presently be a mid-game CV now with early game capabilities atm omg xD

They are my favorite ships in the game, so I hope this is ok!

Thank you all! @Calagan and Atropix, I should take a look at this again and update it. The issue I have, and only with this ship, is steam screwed up and is not allowing me to update the BP on the workshop for the CV2 model. This would force me to release a new version of the ship which I haven't wanted to do just yet until I would get some time to work on this a bunch and make some changes that would make a new release worth while. The only issues I know of right now would be the lounge has an o2 leak near the stairs on the out side of the ship, and I think it would need to be reinforced in places especially on the front to make it tougher and not explody. I also think it should have more storage than it does. And thanks again all!

I found the leakage in the lounge, look at the rough combat blocks :

Replace the semi round above the rocket launcher (tightness is now calculated on 1/2 block) :

heh I was just about to ask about the Lounge air leak but I see from the comments that you've got the problem in mind already. Ive gone over ever square inch of the blocks that make up the lounge and I cannot for the life of me find it :/

Thanks all. At the time I am planning on updating this ship unless I can find a solution to allow me to update the existing blueprint. The air leak in the lounge is bugging me a lot. I am currently rebuilding the Cerberus-PSV and also switching the new version to Skaar in looks. Someone gave me heads up on how I may be able to update the Perses-CV2 BP again. I need to try that and see if it works. I really do not want to release a new BP to the workshop only for 1 fix to the existing ship. But I also don't want to remove the existing ship either. I will try and figure this out. I just can't say what happened with steam and this BP not being able to update it which I do not have the issue with any other ships. Thanks again all!

The Asteria still hold it, or what else? These Legacy cats are beatable, but they keep attacking in CV swarms. Fight one, three more show up two mins later.

If you're about to post a new version, I should mention that the hanging light in the front right of the wide hangar area isn't aligned with the others. Not sure if that was on purpose or not.

Thank you Obersturmkobold, Dhrekkin, glen670618, and Spaghettioz! Sorry about my slow response. I know there is an issue with the o2 in the lounge. I have a fixed version but somehow I can find a way to update the ship on the workshop. I even re-downloaded the version on the workshop and tried but no update option. The O2 is going thru the block near the upper front part of the room because a couple blocks changed status from air tight to not air tight. I think it was only 2 blocks per side in the same area causing the issue (near the stairs on the exterior). Replacing the blocks with a different block fixes it. (more solid). I wish I could figure out why I have this issue on only this ship. Everything else I tested doesn't have the problem. Well, I hope the helps, and thanks again all!

Hey, just shouting out that I love the design. One minor thing though, I found that when in space, the lounge area above engineering seems to not have atmosphere at the floor, but if you jetpack to the roof of the room it does there, as well as in the corners. Not sure if it's a bug or something causing it.

The new carrier is for the MCRN faction an is fair amount larger than the Perses and Overseer combined. Muhahaha! lol. Thanks again all!

Thank you Tendimus and Nemesis! @Tendimus, I really don't know what that means. I will have to spawn under A12 and look. As far as I know, CPU is not on or off, it is just a total of the cpu and if it doesn't go over the tier limit based on CPU blocks, all is good. @Nemesis, since the new flight model, I pretty much have not but been putting any RCS in creations as if the thrusters are in decent spots away from the center of mass, the ships can turn and work just fine and you don't need to waste CPU on RCS's. Hi Jeff, love this ship mate. All seems to be fine but I noticed it says CPU 100%(off) in my ship stats.
The (off) part has me a little concerned, in your screen shot it is not off.
Am I doing something wrong or turned something off, I can't seem to find what is going on mate, any thoughts?

Thank you Kasch and Apoko|ypze! @Apoko|ypze, The super carrier is still not finished but I have been working on it everyday. I would say at least a week away from release yet. As in fitting 4 Perses Carriers, no it can't land 4 on it do to the space on the flight decks. Well, I say that really without trying so... IDK 100% on it. I would think it would not have enough width on the deck to land it nicely where all landing gear are planted on the deck. I know it can park 2 MCRN-Draper carriers, 1 on each side nicely. I am not in game at the moment to look at the size in blocks, but in feet it is just over 1110, or very slightly longer than a US Nimitz Class carrier. I will need to see how many blocks are in it. The final size class should be 54 and is 100% Tier 4 CPU compliant. Thanks again all!

Thanks Emm! I guess I have not planned to update it again for A12 as it really doesn't need much besides if the player wants a teleporter or detector. Both 1x1x1 parts very easy to place somewhere. I guess I could update it thou. But that is really the only changes between A11 and A12 for CV's. Thanks again!

Thank you Knox, golly, Death Onion, and Seigmann! @golly, I believe it should be fine for A12. It had a pretty decent A10 and 11 update. In A12 a CV detector and teleporter could be added. Both 1x1 block so easy to fit. @Seigmann, I will investigate that. There was a recent bug in A12 exp that was causing heat/rads to be in places that is shouldn't be. However I will spawn and take a look to see if I get the same problem. When I built/changed this I was really careful to not have any hot parts within 1 full block of where the play can go to prevent these issues. Well, I will check it out. First I would just like to say that I absolutely love this ship. The possibilities for changing and tweaking it to make it feel like your own ship are just endless. There's just one tiny detail that you might not be aware of. I don't remember if this was a problem in alpha 11, but in 12, the left stairs from the farm to the lounge is a severe radiation zone (300+ C and 20+ rads) This only applies to the actual stairs, so standing on the sloped window next to the stairs is safe. So is standing at the foot of the stairs. The only way I've found to stop the radiation that I assume comes from the large generator below, is to replace the stairs with full-sized blocks. (Even using sloped blocks won't do the job.)

I'm not a particularly great builder, so I can't for the life of me figure out how the heat and radiation is leaking out.
